Goliath brought his axe down on ther head of a dwarven pirate, then kicked to corpse off the axe blade. He watched as one of the people they had brought aboard was trying to fight her way to safety. He couldn't pay attention long as another of the pirates tried top rush him. That was one thing Dwarves were good at, rushing in tight quarters. Goliath brought his axe up into his attackers midsection and lifted him off the deck, bringing up to eye level. The dwarve's eyes went wide in recognition. "You....you're a......" his last words died with him, but they were undoubtedly going to be "You're a Dwarf." He let the corpse fall as he put mind back onto the battle at hand. As he continued to defend himself, he found himself asking aloud "What is it they want!?"

(Sorry, been really busy, and haven't had a chance to reply until now.)

Lupas moved swiftly killing as many as he could. His spinning staff making an almost impenetrable shield around him. He then noticed two dwarfs that had gotten behind Raina, and where about to jump her with there drawn weapons. So he quickly turned around stopping his staffs spinning motion long enough to aim before he trough it in a way that made the pair trip over it, before they could react the quartermaster had leaped into the air sliding his two hidden blades out from under his wrists, and landing on top of the dwarfs quickly sinking the blades into there exposed necks. He then saw a fresh wave of dwarfs climbing over the ships railing, and so he turned to them and began to shift as he did so.

He let out a quick burst of fire from his still human features to make a whole in the new line that come up. Turning a few of them into a charred pile and shocking the nearest of the enemy dwarfs, and even some of the crew, because most had not know that he was a shapeshifter before today. He then jumped up on to the railing, and then up into the sky, as he finished shifting into the natural enemy of the dwarfs, a large black dragon. He let out a roar towards the clouds with a plum of fire fallowing it before looking back toward the battle, and the enemies submersible. He then shouted in a deep, throaty, and grumbled voice "You picked the wrong ship to attack." as he laid his wings flat against his body, and dived toward the dwarfs ship at breakneck speeds.

"Go you, lad!" screamed Joana, laughing like mad while killing enemies, directing these words to Lupas, even if he may not hear her. They started to winning, it was easy to see. The dragon was doing his part very violently and others also showed bravery that they already prooved in many battles before. The end of the battle was near and she almost regreted that it has to stop.

She sank the blade in heart of next dwarf and smelled the fear going through the enemy crew.

Raina slashed down dwarf after dwarf, starting to let her guard down. When Lupas saved her, though, she focused her senses on what was going on around her. Her face lifted into a brief smile when Lupas changed into a dragon. The fight would be over soon, thanks to him.

Lupas Crashed into the submersible, driving it deep under the water as he slashed, and bite, and began to tear the ship apart, but the Dwarfs managed to load their cannons, and started firing at the dragon hoping to be able to take it down with them. Thankfully a dragons scale covered body is almost invulnerable, almost, and the Dwarfs know the areas to aim at, so while Lupas was mostly not hurt, a few shots did get through. He tore into the ships engine room, and clawed the machinery apart. The submersible then blew up killing the rest of the Dwarfs on board, but some of the shrapnel of the ship hurt Lupas as well. He pulled out the larger pieces as he swam towards the surface, and once they where out began to turn back to his natural form, as he did so all of the other debris, and the cannon balls that had found their mark, started to fall out as well. He pulled himself out of the water, and up the ships side, filling the many wounds on his body aching. As he pulled himself over the railing he saw that the rest of the crew had killed the attacking force. He tried to stand up, but collapsed back to the ground, and then just raised his head and looked at the captain, and said "Enemy vessel destroyed, Captain." as he finished he began to cough, and spit out blood onto the deck, before he saw black, and passed out where he laid.

(OOC: Cara is absent and asked me to follow with her character to not stop the rp. Hope I won't screw Joana up very much ^^)

In the Joana's eyes real concern appeared as she kneeled near Lupas and touch his chin. He was cold.

"Bring the medic to his cabin, he always hides under the deck while fighting!" she said and ordered two of the sailors to take Lupas also under the deck, to his cabin. She followed them, looking as they lay the weapon master on the bunk and leave them alone. She made a very furious grimace.

"What a pity you killed all the dwarves" she said mostly to herself. "I would make them think, after they did to you, sons of a gun."

She really cared about Lupas. He was her trusted crewmate and you can all him even a friend; she was the one that first knew about his shapeshifting and that always made her laugh to herself that crew didn't know about it. A little secret, an useful one.

When medic came, she grabbed him by arm and hissed.

"Make him live or you will join the dwarves that he killed. Make yourself in place, or perhaps you will be sent to Brahaka, when they hang you for your crimes on patients."

Raina followed the medic, hoping to be of some use in the situation. Then she changed her mind, remembering that she absolutely hated blood and such. Walking up to Joana, she asked, "What can I do Captain?"

"Make him something to eat which make him strong to fight the wounds" said Joana with steady calmness. "Unless you know how to stop bleeding, then you will be useful by theside of the medic."

Shewiped her forehead, because sweat dripped to her eyes. She was exhausted after battle but had to stay on her feet because ofthe crew. She wastheir captain, she had to be strong.

Lupas woke up, and tried to sit up, but his head started pounding, his vision was blurred, and spinning. At first he couldn't remember anything, but it slowly came back to him. He looked at his bandages which covered much of his body, and then laid back down. He hoped that everyone was OK, and that he would be able to see someone soon. He also hoped that he would heal quickly so he could get back to his duties. He hated felling useless.

Raina quickly made some food for Lupas. She hesitated at the door, seeing him awake, then deciding now was not the time for timidness, knocked.
"I have some food for you," she spoke quietly, not daring to look up.

When Joana left cabin of Lupas, she was caught by one of the sailors. "The old lady wants to see you, captain..." he said to her with suspicious look on his face. Yes, the witch was known here. She was captured in one of the raids and made herself at home on Joana's ship. She wasn't prisoner anymore, more like magical aid.

"What she wants, did she tell you?"

"I think she saw something in the water. You know, capn' something about...your nemesis..."

Joana quickly left the sailor and went under the deck once more, aiming to small cabin where old hag had her room.
