Daniella awoke suddenly and sat up. She was laying on the soft grass behind the barn. A soft tinkle of rain was whispering down. She stood up and pulled her blue cloak closer towards her. She ran into the barn where she heard an echoing nicker from her stallion, Aspen. He stood in a large box stall made of fine oak wood. A barn owl (Daniella's) named Aries was perched happily on a low panel cutting across the ceiling. Daniella quietly called Aries down and hurried into the rain and back to her house.

"Daniella?" A small voice called. Daniella hurried up the rickety stairs to her grandmother's room. Ivy, a beautiful elderly lady sat in her bed with her silver hair falling down her shoulder.

"Yes Grandmother?" Daniella sat lightly on the edge of Ivy's bed.
"Daniella, look outside." Ivy said. Daniella opened a curtain and saw a large mountain in the distance with aa small white cloud in the shape of a heart cuddled next to it. It was strange though, because the rest of the sky was black with rain.
"I see Grandmother." Daniella said nervously.
"You know what you must do, Ella." Ivy said. And with a small smile, Daniella hurried out of the room.

He told her. no Calwen, i am not, they will not harm me, for they cannot. a smile spread across her lips and she shifted her apearance into a mortal form, with thick brown hair and soft gray eyes. they cannot...
