He was irritated as she called him by Annie. He gave a slight roll of the eyes and raised his voice, "That...that doesn't concern you!" He stroked back a piece of his hair that was infront of his eye. Then he let out a sigh and said in a gentle tone,"Forgive me.."

Anakin didn't say anything. His breathing seemed to be harder than usual, he seemed nervous, but he kept silent. His eyes remained on the floor.

Padme sighed. "Well, I've been needing to talk to you about something. First off, whats going on with you? I noticed your hand went to your stomach today."
She had an idea of what that had been about. But that was hard to believe. Then she remembered Anakin had broken the Jedi code too. So she decided to play dumb for the time being.
"Are you sick or something?" She wanted to smack herself on the head as she said it. It certainly didn't sound convincing but maybe her cousin wouldn't notice.

"All right...just checking up on you. I hardly see you around these days. I'm just a bit worried." It sounded more convincing and Padme decided it would have to suffice. Political matters were one thing, but family...that was a little harder to play dumb with.
