The nurse and Andura entered the room at a
quick pace. "Where's the invalid?" said the nurse.
She eyed Winada at the x-ray machine.
"Let me see your wound before Leela turns on the machine."
She gently turned Winada towards her
and examined the wound.

Unable to read the nurse's face she couldn't help but ask "How bad is it?" Winada anxiously waited for her reply.

The nurse frowned, turning her head slightly to the side.
"Well," she said, "since you're able to to stand I'm thinking you'll live,
though your burn looks pretty bad..."
Vira and Andura had also been suprised when Winada got up
and walked after being stabbed. They had expected her to be done for...
"Leela, the machine if you please." said the nurse.
Leela flicked on the machine and adjusted it to get the best picture
of Winada's wound. The nurse smiled.
"It seems that when you were stabbed all of your organs were missed.
That's a miracle!"
"You're going to be just fine." said the nurse.
"All we have to do now, is tend to the burn, which
if we do quickly should prevent you from scarring."

Winada and Sarwi bothed sighed in relief. The nurse took a jar from the shelf and applied a gooy liquid to the burn.

The gew quickly softened into cream as the nurse rubbed it on.
"You may feel a cooling, and a sort of cold burning sensation."
Said the nurse to Winada.
"but don't worry," she nurse smiled,"That only means it's working."

Winada nodded. The cream felt like ice against her skin but she knew that help the burn.

Andura turned and peered out the door on the other end of the room
behind the patient's bed.
The sky was turning orange as evening began to approach.
She jumped and looked at Vira.

Vira catching Andura's alarmed expression jumped in addition.
"The council for Padwans will be starting soon."
"No doubt any minute!" Vira put in.
"C'mon," said Andura motioning at Vira, "We have to go."
Vira tunred to Winada, and glanced at nervously Sarwi .
"Did you 2 want to come?"

Winada smiled. "Sure." She wanted everything to focus off her wound and on something else. Sarwi just nodded. She was still moping about injurying her cousin. Winada nudged her and when she didn't respond, rolled her eyes.

"Can you walk alright now?" asked Vira stepping towards Winada.
Andura was fidgeting nervously at the door.
"Relax," said the nurse noticing her. "You have time."
"Yeah," Leela put in, "it doesn't start actually, for another
15 minutes."

Winada nodded. "Of course I can." The burn had cooled and didn't hurt at all. She slid off the table and walked around the room. Seeing the nurse eyeing her she said "I'll be careful though."

Vira smiled. "Alright.
Andura, what floor is the meeting supposed to be on again?"
"The 7th." she asnwered heading for the elevator.
"Come back in a about 3 days for a check up."
said the nurse handing Winada the jar of ointment.
"And apply this to your burn at least once a night."

Andura pushed the button for the elevator to come back their floor. The doors opened and she hurried inside, looking for the button to the florr the meeting was to be held on.
