This is about young padawans(teenagers to 20)who have buddies on the brink of turning to the dark side, for whatever reasons we make up as we go along-and we take it upon ourselves to do all that we can to help them stay with the Jedi and not go Sith on everybody.


So I guess I'll post my character bio, and wait for some others to join in too before we start.

:Historical and personal facts: Born in Tatooine under captivity, but later bought and adopted by a nice young couple from the mountains of Naboo:
Derus & Tara Gane, who she lived with until age 13 when she met a Jedi-who was consequently looking for an apprentice at the time-who sensed the force in her and told her parents about the Jedi academy. Vira went back with the Jedi to the academy and has been traing there ever since, but she misses her family and friends at Naboo.
Thoguh difficult and scary at times, she has currently been enduring the "trails" that will allow her to move up in the Jedi world and no longer be a Padawan, but become a Jedi herself.

:Age: 18(3 months older than Vira)

:History: Parent's died when she was 2(so she really doesn't remember them). Adopted by her aunt, Nira(sister of Andura's Mom)who loved her very much. Andura's uncle had died before she was born and he and her aunt had always wanted a child.
Andura's aunt is originally from Naboo and is very wealthy and educated,
but humble and kind, and her husband was from Coruscent, so she moved there with him after they were married. Andura sneaked into the Jedi temple when she was 12, walked up to a random Jedi master in the hallways while he was talking to another Jedi and asked for training.
She had seen a lightaber fight once long ago and was instantly fascinated
in the Jedi. The Jedi she spoke to would've refused to help her find a trainer if he hadn't felt the force in her as well. Andura trained with the other padawans who didn't have mentors until Niriam Tenarr decided to take her on as an apprentice when she was 16 1/2.

Vira and Andura met in a class when they were 13.

Name:Winada Damillia

History:Her parents were the former senators of Alderan before Bail Organa. At age twelve, she made a goal to become a jedi. Her parents, wanting to keep their only child safe would not give her permission. She, knowing how to fly a small fighter incase of evacuations, ran away to Coruscant and started training at the jedi temple. She has a cousin named Sarwi, who is also a padawan.

History:This is queen Jamillia's daughter. Of couse Jamillia isn't queen yet but high ranking among the Naboo Government. Sarwi was in the Legaslative Youth Program and is highly knowledgable about politics. At age ten, her father sent her to Coruscant to train. At the time he did not know his neice was also in training. Sarwi and Winada are best friends. Sarwi, becoming very angry with lack of action in the senate and jedi has taken an intrest in the dark forces.

Winada quickly blocked a blow from her master, Bailo Donab. Her bright blue lightsaber twirled as she was in practice. Bailo's purple light saber moved with his apprentices. He had to admit, Winada was a better swordsman than him. She was faster, and had a cunning. creative mind. As he thought about her progress she did a fast move that disarmed him and she caught his saber. Hers deactivated. "Very good, Winada," said Bailo with a smile. "You'll be ready for the trials in no time. Your excused for the day." She bowed. "Thank you, Master Donab." She exited the practice room and went looking for Sarwi.

Sarwi sat at a screen in the Archives. She was intensely watching the last senate meeting. Apparently a rebellion had taken place on a small oil mining planet. She scowled as one of the newer senators spoke. "He doesn't know a thing about politics," she said out loud. "They obviously don't want lower pay for their oil industry or there wouldn't be an uprising."

I think we can just go ahead and start now.

So, picking from where you left off:

Vira turned the corner of the hall into the archives room.
It was a bit cold in there as usual. Most places tended to be cold on
Geonosis though. She pulled her cloak further around her shoulders,
keeping her wrapped up hands inside the warm fabric at her sides.

She heard someone blurt out an insult in frustration and looked up
to see Sarwi and Winada staring down at something intently.
"Hey guys." she said approaching them with a smile.
Perring over Sawi's shoulder she saw that she was watching yet another
political meeting. Vira didn't usually keep up with such things herself,
as she never found it to be very interesting, but with all of the
commotion about the polititians that seemed only to rise
and become more heated, she would tend to feel some guilt
at neglecting the goings on of the politicians, since obviously
they weren't always dealing too honestly, and she being a Jedi
did have the responsibility to protect the people around her.
She resolved to try harder to keep up with such things, despite
how it bored her.

She moved on quietly to find Andura, her best friend
who had she had been looking for. She spotted her across the room
with a book in her hand, staring concentratedly at the screen in front of her.

Winada nodded at Vira and smiled. "Hello." She then looked at Sarwi and what she was watching. "Oh really, Sarwi. If you want to do something about it , quit the jedi order and become a politician."

Sarwi groaned. "I can't just quit and Bail Organa is the new Senator of Alderaan. And I can't be a senator for any other system."

He played with an old peace of leather. He was lookng up failes on sith so far none. He stared at the screen.A file pop up. He sarted to read. The sith ofen carry a red lightsaber, they kill very thing in there sight. The choses one is the only one that can stop them. The choses one is stronger then the jedi. He had seen this file before.It was mght for the youngly not himself.

Andura looked up as she noticed the light stepping of Jedi boots walking towards her. She smiled, "Hey Vir," she said, setting the book aside.

"Hey, whatch'a doin?" Vira replied. Andura was already facing the screen
again, "Um...I'm just-"
Vira looked down at the screen, touching the book with her hand.
Suddenly she felt startled. The word sith was flashing across the screen
(amongst many other words she didn't notice too much) and the cover of the book had the same word on it.
"You're looking up the Sith?"

Andura didn't turn to Vira right away.
"Yeah," she replied, before facing her. "Just out of curiosity...you know."

"What do you want to know about them?"
"Well, the book mentioned "the ways of the Dark Side" but
that's all it did. It didn't really say what they were..."
Andura touched a red spot on the screen and the picture changed.

"Well..."Vira started,"We kinda already know what they are...
I mean, Yoda says they're clouded, powerful...and Dark."

Andura looked up at Vira with a smerky expresion.
"Yeah, that's real specific."

Sarwi sighed and turned off the screen. She turned to her cousin. "Want to see a trick I learned?"
Winada shrugged. "Sure.'
Sarwi snapped her fingers and Winada's vision went black. She felt like she was falling in a tunnel of darkness. Her oxygen seemed to cut off and blood vessels pounding her head. Her lungs gagged on lack of air. Suddenly she was back by Sarwi and in the temple. "What was that?"
"An illusion tunnel."
"Where did her learn that?"
"Oh, just an old book in the archives."
"You shouldn't do that again. It felt like one of the dark forces."
