If you are a fan of Narnia and have read the books you may remember a part in the Last Battle where Jill says to Jewel that she wished things would slow down, she was getting kind of tired of all the adventures. Jewel replied that it wasn't always like that, Aslan only sent the children there when Narnia needed help, but there was always a peaceful time in between. Well I'd like to try and see what that was like. Of course there will be the occasional battle and such but let's try to have a nice peaceful time during the reign of Peter the High King and his siblings. (Okay.. So I'll start) Susan woke early one morning, dressed and walked to her balcony just outside her room. Soon a faun named Barnus came bustling in with her breakfast and to tell her what the plans for the day were. "Goodmorning Barnus." she said cheerfully. "Goodmornin' your Highness. Here's your breakfast, and now, while you eat we'll get to business. Your brother, King Edmund, wishes to have a meeting with all four of your Majesties, not sure why but he has asked you all to meet him in his study." Barnus told her. "Thank you. You will be sure to tell him that I will be there?" "Aye, Your Grace." "Anything else, Barnus?" "Ah, yes, the mer-people are gathering today and the High King has appointed you to be present as one of your Highnesses are requested." "Very good. Is that all?" "Not quite." "Then tell me!" she laughed good naturedly "Ah yes. An ambassador from Terebinthia is here for another marriage proposal." "Again? How many marriage proposals can I have?" "Twenty-sev.. no twenty-eight now." "Thank you for keeping count." she said dryly. "Well I have finished my breakfast so I guess I'll go meet with the others." "Wonderful your Majesty." She rose and made her way through the familiar passeges to her brother's study. (Linariel, can you think of something Edmund want's to meet w/ them about. Something cheerful or the like not gloomy or bad news.. thanks!) |

(Okay) Edmund stood in the study looking over his duties. He always seemed to be busy now a days. He waited for his sisters to come. He knew Peter wouldn't the High King was busy with something important at the time. (So you mean no bad news? I am a bit confused.) |
