Kel quickly ran into the wash room to get ready for dinner. She pulled on a yellow underdress and a brown overdress. Frowning slightly at her bruised eye, she pulled on some sandals. Salma looked at her and smiled when Kel emerged. The bell clanged and Kel stumbled out of her room.

Page training when she's a page, or when she first gets to the palace and she is on probation?
I'll go with probation.

Daine got up slowly, not wanting to disturb the animals that were scattered around the bed. As she washed her face, the flock of sparrows that lived at the palace flew in through her open window.
"hello." she said to them. "Hows the flying weather?"
"The morning is perfect" The sparrows chattered back. Daine liked the flock. They were very optomistic, and very cheery. They had good conversation going when the sparrows mentioned a newcomer.
"The new page is different from the rest" The sparrow said. "Not at all like the others. The page reminds me of you."
"She's a woman" Daine replied. "Much better than the dull witted men"
The male sparrows ruffled thier feathers in distain.
"Humen men are dull witted. Who could ever think that sparrows are?"
The birds peeped their goodbyes nd flew out the window.
