hair:brown, long but curls at the end, preventing it from getting in his eyes or touching his neck.
clothes:baggy cargo pants, variously colored large t-shirts
history:born in Joshua, he has since then become a child prodigy, and is about to get past seventh grade half way into the year (he's a knowledge lover, reading books on advanced math and writing)
personality:quiet, preferring a book to conversation, yet willing to help anyone struggling with their school work. He falls into depression if he gets low grades.

History: She was born in New York City, but soon after her birth her parents abandoned her and she was sent to an orphanage. Since then she has lived in foster homes in many different states including California, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. She was sent to a foster home in Joshua on her eleventh birthday. She has been relatively happy with her new foster family and hopes they will decide to adopt her.

OOC: I edited my last post. Ava is now 12 and in the 7th grade. I thought it would make things easier if we were all in the same grade.

Ava eyed the new boy in the seat nest to her with intrigue. She had never seen him before, but she was pretty sure that he was younger than she was. Overcoming her shyness, she tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Hi, my name's Ava. What's yours?"

he shook out of his stupor, turning to her and saying "Seth...."

he said "I moved into seventh today, I started the school year in fifth."

Ava raised her eyebrows and said, "Wow! You must be really smart then. I'm kind of new too. I just came from New York City a fw months ago."

As he ran over what he knew about New York City in his mind the teacher took notice of them and said "Please stop disrupting the class."

Ava jumped in surprise as she heard the teacher speaking to them. She turned and faced the front of the room again. When the teacher had her back to them, Ava stuck her tongue out at her. She had never liked this teacher.
