This RPG will be based on the world of Alagaesia (sp?) from the Eragon/Eldest books. It will take place before the dragon riders were overthrown by Galbatorix. A huge army of Urguls and evil men are threatening to take over the known world and the dragon riders must stop them. This RPG is free to everyone. Just post a bio and you're in!

Anaiya sat on the back of Gaidin, her large dragon. They had been sent out to scout the land for enemies. They were flying high in the clouds, invisible to those on the ground. Look, Gaidin! There, right under us, is an Urgul camp. It looks large, maybe a thousand!, said Anaiya. After a moment Gaidin replied, Yes, I see. Far too much for you to take on your own, little one, even with me. So don't even think it. Anaiya glared at the back of Gaidin's head. She did jump into things without thinking sometimes, but she never would have thought to take on this many Urguls alone. I wasn't planning on it. Hurry we must tell the others! With that they turned and began flying to where she had left the other dragon riders.

Eura waited at a watch tower for something to happen, anything. Hey, Candace, lets play a game to make the time fly. I know I spy, and I go first, She thought to her dragon, I spy with my little eye, something.... That flies. Looking into the distance, Candace took a while to answer, A dragon, with a rider, headed frantacly this way? Erura sat straight up, isn't that Anaiya on Gaidin, I thought they were out scouting. Candace answered her, unless they've found something.

Hmm, Erura went, and waited for dragon, and rider, to come forth.

Alya lay next to Daeron looking at the sky. It's beautiful today isn't it Daeron Alya spoke to her magnificent blue dragon. It was but I fear something is going to happen soon. Alya looked at Daeron before returning her gaze to the sky, it was then she saw another Dragon Rider. Daeron did you see that, let's go check it out. Nothing excited has happened in days Daeron grumbled but helped Alya onto his back anyways, then they were off in the air.

Soon Anaiya saw the watch tower where Erura and Candace waited, but before she reached the tower she saw another dragon rider flying towards them. That looks like Alya on Daeron Gaidin thought to her. She squinted and after a moment she replied yes it is. Hurry. We need to warn them. Gaidin sped up so quickly that she nearly fell off. She looked down at him and he smirked back at her. This is no time for games, Gaidin. she thought fiercly. He just laughed. Soon they reached Alya and Daeron. Hovering in mid air Anaiya said, "Alya, a whole army of Urguls are headed this way. Quick we must warn everyone." And with that she sped off towards the tower in the distance. When they reached it she repeated her message to Erura breathlessly.

Never read Eragorn or the Eldest books. Could someone fill me in and I'll join.

Erura nodded, and jumped onto Candace, "I'll go to the keep and warn them, you and Gaidin need a moment rest." Candace go to the keep, we need to warn the others of the army of urgals, she thought to Candace. Hold on love, I'll be going at top speed, and with that flew off...

((Frost Lord, it's kind of hard to tell if you haven't read the books! I'll do it the best I can.!!

It began with elves comeing to this land, and at first they fought with the dragons. but a few found eggs, they hatched, and so became of the first riders.

Then elves made a tredy with the dragons. men eventually joined the elves.

but eventually Galbatorix, one of the best riders, went against the others, and some other riders joined him.

If you know lotr, which you probably have, urgals are sort of like orcs, and the creatures they call shades are like ring raiths(exept the use spirit magic, and the only way to kill them is with a slash through the heart.) and some men joined him as well.... to create the Empire.

And the rest of the dragonriders tried to fight against his armies, but most of them end up perishing....

and eventually a group of rebels form together to try to take Galbatorix down. They are called the Varden!

Alya smiled when she recognized Anaiya and Gaidin. When Anaiya gave her news Alya nodded.

"I shall warn the village and then meet you back at the tower."

Come Daeron let us not make haste. Alya said before crouching low on Daeron so they could soar through the air quicker. To the village Daeron said flying towards the small village in the distance

"Thank you," Anaiya said to Erura. They did need to rest. They had been scouting since day break and it was nearly nightfall. Anaiya dismounted Gaidin and slumped against his side. Tired already, little one. , he thought to her with a deep chuckle, I have never known you to be tired before a battle. Anaiya pushed herself onto her feet and straightened her back. I am not tired, she lied. Although she knew it would do no good. He always knew what she was thinking. That was confirmed when he gave her that same look her mother always used to give her when she had caught her telling a lie. Fine, she said. But then a large smile bloomed on her face. [/i]I may be tired, but I'm not too tired to teach those Urguls a lesson. Gaidin looked at her with severity. You are always too eager for battle, he thought to her. She was about to say something about him acting like her mother, but she decided not to. He was probably right. She watched the sky for other Riders coming to the tower.

Monsoon turned a lazy circle in the night sky, his silver neck dipping below the cloud line, and coming to a proud landing in an outcrop of rock. A tall figure stepped out from the trees and smiled benath her cloak.
Where were you? her voice was clear and soft.
The dragon shook itsself and lwaned its head forward, amber eyes flickering.What is it to you? he replied, his voice soothing to her mind.
With a light jump she seated herself on his back and hugged his longest spike.
Because I was worried, now hurry!
The mist coloured dragon pushed himself into the air with powerfull legs.
They flew for a while before the camp came into view.
Gaidin ? Monsoon asked with his mind, circling slightly lower, watching with beady eyes.Our worst rider is back....

Anaiya gave a Gaidin a puzzled look as he lifted his head into the air and looked like he was listening intently to something. After a moment he looked at her. Monsoon and Rhavaniel bring news. Get on. Anaiya quickly jumped onto his back and they began to fly out and look for the other dragon and rider. What kind of news? she asked him. After a moment he looked back at her with a sad expression in his eyes. Our worst rider is back. That was all she could get out of him. Soon, Anaiya spotted Rhavaniel on Monsoon in the distance. As they came closer, Anaiya said, "Rhavaniel, tell me everything."
