Yes, I know, there are two wonderful ones already, but neither one suited my purposes too well and I'd kinda like to get back into the swing of RPG (used to do it all the time...haven't in over a year). I had thought about using the intro to one of my fanfics and seeing what people could do with it, but in the end I decided it would require too much explanation and scripting. Therefore, I shall be doing something in between two of them.


Setting for this story: About 5 years after the movie; Will and Elizabeth are married and living in Tortuga with their two-year-old daughter Marie (not too significant here, just a little background info); Jack is obviously Captain of the Black Pearl; Will is a part-time member of the crew

~Rules~ (hate 'em, but I'm kinda picky sometimes)
1. Jack does not have a love interest (sorry, but it's not too practical)
2. Will does not have a love interest aside from Elizabeth (again, not practical)
3. Rules 1 & 2 do not mean that females are not allowed on the crew. It simply means that neither Will nor Jack is passionately in love with any of them
4. If using a made up character, please provide adequate background and description (pics are nice if one is available)
5. Please ask before joining (I'm not gonna say no; it just makes things easier)

Okay, guess that's about it...only other thing is that the role of Jack is reserved for Pippin unless declined...we do still need a Will and a crew for the Black Pearl...I'd rather Elizabeth not have too prominent of a role in this (with a two-year-old to care for, I doubt she's too interested in going off on adventures)...wow, I have a lot of rules, huh? Hope this isn't all too confusing. I'll start the story in a new post.

Okay, first of all, I'm using a made up character that requires a good bit of explaining. I'll do it as briefly as possible-
Name: Blackbird Turner
Occupation: First Mate onboard the Black Pearl
Appearance: fairly short; very thin, but strong; tan skin; dark, wavy hair; dark brown eyes; black pants, black boots, and black shirt over a red corset-like top; weathered tricorn hat (belonged to Bootstrap)
Weapons: anything with a blade; pistols; always carries her sword and her father's dagger
Personality: very strong-willed; sarcastic; you don't want to get on her bad side, but once you're on her good side she's a valuable friend; constantly challenging Jack; not very open with emotions
Background: here's where it sometimes gets a bit complicated...She's Will's twin sister, raised by Bootstrap in Tortuga after their parents broke up. When Bootstrap died, Jack took over. She joined the crew (against Jack's will) at 13, and has served on it ever since. In this story, Will has already found out about her (read my first fanfic for that story)

(It's POTC 2, btw) Not mandatory, and you could certainly get away without it. Just thought I'd post it for any OCD people like me that insist upon knowing what's going on at every moment)

Blackbird sat at a small table in the corner of the Jolly Roger, her dark eyes gleaming like coals in the candlelight. Taking a small sip out of her mug, she searched the room again. Jack and Will were late, as usual. She propped her feet up on the table and waited. They'd come eventually.

Will stolled into the Jolly Ranger trying to seem as if he weren't late.
"Blackbird!" He said with a grin, "fancy seeing you here"

Appearance: Long black hair that reaches her waist. Slim figure very pale skin and green eyes. Black and white striped top with drapey sleeves (if you know what I mean??? ) Black three quarter length trousers and black boots.

Weapons: Sword, and a very old pistol.

Personality; Kind opptimistic, can be sharp and pessimistic, if something doesn't go her way.

Background: Her father was a pirate. She joined the black pearl after a hefty argument with him (He thought girls could not become pirates).

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Occupation: Pirate, The Captain Of The Bloody Maiden

Appearance: long black hair with brownish touch, a scared face, quite thin body

Clothing/equipment: brown pants, a white dirty shirt with a brown vest on it, an eye patch, a black bandanna wrapped around his head and a hat with a small black feather on it. He has a sword on his belt and two small guns/muskets...

Background: born in the caribean to an normal fisher man family until he was captured by pirates and in time became one of them on a ship named the bloody top. Since then he has been pirating until the british navy sank the bloody top and almost caught him. He hid for some time and was able to gather a reliable crew to capture an english warship that was docked near Bahama. Soon he was travelling the carribean, sinking a ship after another all tough sometimes facing severe problems with enemy warships, but was able to establish a name for himself and still raids the seas with his crew....

Personality: Very quiet and relax, but when needed he speeks and acts as he should, but is very greedy and backstabbing sometimes, but can be very friendly when someone earns his trust.

Personality: Very much like her father; proud, arrogant, a little vain, strongwilled, witty , unpredicatable, spontanious, flirtatious (with results). She is also kind, cunning, attractive, friendly, loyal

Background: Her father was Davey Jones and her mother Mistress Tabussa (-a french merchants wife). Her father kidnapped her when she was 12 and took her to live on his ship whith her. She learnt everything she knows off him, and fights like a man, and is able to laugh like one. When her father died, she took over his crew, but they didnt exept her, and rebelled against her captinship. She fled and became the Captains assistant to Jack Sparrow, captin of the Black Pearl. He does get annoyed with her, especially when it seems she is captain and not him.

Especially when Jack asked both of us to come," Blackbird said, taking her feet off the table. She hooked a chair from another table with one foot and pulled it over for Will. "Sit. I'm surprised you were even able to make it. out of the house."

Blackbird spotted her friend staggering in from across the room. Sighing, she went over and took him by the arm. "Drinking again, Sparrow?" she said, dragging him by the sleeve over to their table. "I swear, I don't know why you insist on meeting us at the tavern if you're just going to get drunk beforehand. Seems it'd be easier to just pass out drunk every night and eliminate the middleman. I doubt you even remember why you wanted us to come, do you?"

Devina and Florance sat by the docks, legs dangling into the water. "So," asked Devina "Not such a sucess on the shoping front then?" looking pointedly at her best friends empty bag. She waved her hand, to get rid of a mosquito and grinned.

"Naah," Florence replied grudgingly. She was a world record breaker on shopping and she was so utterly surprised that she had managed to pick up anything apart from an apple off a stand. It had been revolting aswell. "So,"Florence asked,"What are we gonna do now, aye?"

A small frigate approached the port presentng itself as a merchant ship, it`s captain stood on the deck with a slightly worried look on his face as he was afraid of being regonized, but usually the trick had worked. The ship slowly came to the docks and stopped, the crew could breth slightly easier as they exited the ship in small groups leaving a quater of their crew to watch after the ship.

Chris walked down the plank to the docks and looked around before beginning to look for a place to have a drink at.

"Tough luck." Devina grinned, and pulled out a fine gold necklace and a string of shining pearls. "Hey look," she pointed to the disembarking captain of a merchant ship "Try youre luck on him. If he is a merchant, he should have some gold or something on him."She said to Florance.
