Someone else started an RPG like this a while back, but I thought it was a really good idea so I am going to start one of my own. THis will began when Titanic sets off on her maiden voyage. Everyone is welcome, just include a character bio.
Here's mine:
Name:Darcy McBryne

Age: 20
Race:Irish
Class:3rd
Personality:She has a very moody personality. She can go from gentle and kind one minute to fiery and stubborn the next. She is passionate in all things.
Appearance:short, slim, hip length wavy red hair, large round pale blue eyes, fair skin, very beautiful
Reason for traveling: When she was 17, Darcy was forced into a marriage with a rich older man. He was an excessive drunk and he squandered away his fortune on beer and gambling. When his money was gone, he turned to Darcy's father for financial aid and in turned ruined their family. Darcy ran away and used the last of her savings to buy a ticket for the Titanic.
Traveling companions:No one

Darcy leaned over the railing of the great ship and watched the land drift further off into the distance. When the great ship lurched, her stomach began turning flip-flops and she decided that leaning out so far was not the best idea. She had never been on a ship before and this first experience was not agreeing with her stomach. She hoped she was not as green as she felt. She turned and began walking around, studying the other people aboard the ship.

Would it be alright if I joined as a boy and a girl? And could you possibly be a boy too?

Personality: He is a very kind and generous man. He would help anyone he was close to, man or woman, child or adult. He loves to play his guitar that his father gave him, when he was a child.

Personality: She has a very gentle nature, she is very well mannered, and rarely gets to enjoy fun. She desperately wants to find a way to enjoy herself. She is a very passionate person, as well.

Lacey slowly looked out to the ocean, but of course, her mother was right beside her. She sighed and smiled. She really enjoyed the ocean. She thought that it was so beautiful. She glanced to her mother, from the corner of her eye. She rolled her eyes and rested her head in her hand. Her mother slapped her hand away and made her straighten up. "That's improper." Lacey sighed and nodded.

William was sitting in a chair and looked over to the bar area. He smiled, when his temptations got the better of him. He slowly stood up and walked over to the bar, to get a drink. He sighed, ordered a beer and started getting a drink.

okay here's my guy character:
Name: Nathaniel 'Nate' Blunt
Age: 23
Gender: male
Race: American
Class: 3rd
Personality: outgoing, kind, fun-loving, brave, talkative
Appearance: very tall, broad shoulders, muscular, shoulder length wavy blonde hair, dark green eyes, tan skin
Reason for travel: He grew up in a rural area of New York, but when he was 13 his parents were killed. He was sent to London to live with his poor aunt and uncle, his only surviving relatives. He saved all the money that he earned and when he heard the Titanic was going to America, he decided that he would spend his whole savings to get a ticket back to his homeland.
Traveling companions: None

As she was walking, Darcy noticed a bar nearby. She was always taught that proper ladies did not drink, but she was not a proper lady anymore, and some strong beer might take her mind off the rocking of the cursed ship! She sat down with a sigh and ordered a beer. When it was brought back to her, she tilted it back and downed as much as she could of the bottle in one long drink. She blushed when she realized how foolish she must look. That doesn't matter, she thought to herself, I'm not a wealthy young lady anymore. I am a commoner. None of these people probably spare a glance for the likes of me. She took a quick sip and set the bottle down in front of her. She sighed and rested her chin on her hands as she looked around at the other people getting drinks.

Nate strolled along the ship's deck happily whistling and tossing up the one coin he had left. It did not matter to him that he was now even more poor than he had been. He was headed back to America. His home. He tucked the coin into his pocket and leaned over the railing of the ship, breathing in the sea air. He loved everything about the sea. He used to spend all of his times at the docks helping fishermen and sailors with their boats. He glanced around him. He saw many people, among them was a pretty girl with her mother. He flashed her one of his most winning grins. He would have spoken, but he did not think the girl's mother would like it much.
(this is the first time I have ever tried to play a guy so I hope this is okay )

William looked over to his side and saw a girl drinking a beer. He smirked a bit and then cleared his throat. "Life's that bad, huh?" He chuckled a bit and took another drink of his beer.

Lacey smiled back to Nate and then blushed slightly. She never really had any eye contact with men. Her mother didn't allow it, at such a young age. She was glad that her mother wasn't paying attention to the boy and her.

((Thanks, i am thinking of doing a charrie that worked at Moulin rouge and is trying to run from her past, Maybe you could make a guy that can show her that not all men are like the ones she knew at the Moulin Rouge. Kind of like a Christen Satine deal, if you know what I mean.))

Reason for travel:Worked at the Moulin Rouge her whole life since her mother worked their. Her mother Nicole, had died 12 years earlier. Now she has decided to leave that life and the owner behind. To do so she had stolen money to pay her way.

Darcy jumped slightly when the man spoke to her. She glanced at her beer and raised her eyebrows at just how much she had drank. "I guess so," she replied with a chuckle of her own. She offered the man her hand. "I'm Darcy McBryne. You?"

Nate walked closer to the girl. "My name's Nathaniel Blunt," he said softly trying not to attract her mother's attention, "But everyone calls me Nate. Nice to meet you."

Reason for traveling: Her fiance's parents were kind enough to buy them both a ticket, and Emmeline, not coming from a wealthy family (her family was not poor either), was delighted and told her weary fiance they should accept them. In other words, to travel and try something new
