Hey Rhinnin's writer. Apologies if I took liberties with your character as I wanted to keep the momentum moving forwards.
This is cool Elora Starsong. I borrowed the character from Hanasian so Rhinnin is sort of a quasi-NCE anyway. I want to write but my time is erratic with this job, so feel free to use Rhinnin as you see fit. I can pick her up when I can. I don't want to hold anything up if I'm away for any period of time.

I'm good. I had just posted with my characters getting ready for the next event, but I can easily sum it up and go to the feast. I didn't really have anything in mind, plot wise, so it's all good.

Ok - thanks Jax and Hanasian. Have moved it forward several hours to the banquet.
As far as plot goes, it seems kinda free form to me and I don't want to dictate, but I had the following ideas when writing:
What if Calimir noticed the on field exchange between Almara and Amarwen decided to put it to use?
What if a move was made during the feast against one of the Shieldmaidens?
What if there was a security scare, perhaps a plot against a Shieldmaiden misunderstood to be against Valacar himself? Who might uncover that and what would happen?
Who else might have been in the gardens, listening to the exchange between Aldamir and Amarwen? What might have made of that hopefully ambiguous conversation and how might they put it to use?
On that last point, I wrote the ending of that conversation as loosely as I could. Amarwen may not have heard Aldamir's actual words - when we wed, not if we wed - given she so strenuously does not want to marry him.

Hey, Hanasian, did you have specific plans for Girdaen? Having Calamir ask him to find out about Almara will actually play in quite well to fleshing out her backstory and my plan for her through the RP.
I could post his findings when the time comes, or PM you my idea and let you bring it out as desired.

No, go ahead and use Girdaen and write it up and post as you see fit. I just introduced and used him as an NCE. His background was one of the 'Guildsmen' that got off the ship in East Osgiliath when Calimir was replacing the old Guildsman as Rep to the King back a few pages.

*sigh* .... after 20+ years on the internet, you would think I would learn. Never Never ever write a post on a forum reply screen. Write it in Word, an email that autosaves drafts, etc. but never a forum reply box. IF you do chance it and write a post in a forum reply box, be sure to ctrl A ctrl C it BEFORE clicking the reply button. 98.9% of the time the backup is never needed, and complacency sets in.
Tonight I wrote a beauty of a post in the reply box for this RP, and I forgot to ctrlA/ctrlC it before hitting the reply button. I got a 'lost connection' screen, and backing up the browser did not work. All was lost. It has gone into the abyss like a half dozen or so other RP masterpiece posts I've written over the years in various stories on various message boards, never to return. I'm just too tired to try and reconstruct it now. Sorry folks.
