Like Will, I’m going on holiday too! =) So I won’t be posting on Starless Night either. Can’t wait to get the RP going again when both Will and I are back!

I can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeve, Goldy! I'm sure it is epic. Poor Arawen has the worst partner in crime as soon as Maeth heard him she was like: Kay guys I'm gonna peace out now.
I do miss SN so much. It's good to know it hasn't been forgotten.

Me too! I feel like I haven't posted there for ages..! Poor Beör feels really undervaluedcompared with all the pirates.

Well, Maethoriel's ego is too big for her to feel undervalued although it would be good for the c*ocky little thing.

I did some research on Mordor and I think I will have Beör suggest to take another escape route. One that will be equally challenging to take: they could also travel to Nurn.
It's a more fertile part of Mordor and there are cities there which fall under the Variag Empire (Khand) who are allegiant to Sauron. Their mining and agriculture largely depends on slaves.
It would be really cool as well to have them cross the Shadow Mountains in disguise, travelling through this rather unknown country. Or perhaps they could make an attempt..
What do you guys think?

Yes! I love the idea, Will. It certainly would feel like a cop-out if they went the way that Frodo came in (not to mention that would be pretty impossible considering he literally went straight through Mordor).
Maybe they could do some of that swashbuckling and heroics that Arawen laughed about? Freeing some slaves, yeah? Throwing people out of power. Sounds like our group could become something of a legend in the lands around Mordor.
Shan would definitely press for that. It also gives me some great wizard-ish ideas - not Gandalf or Radagast, but Alatar would be fun to use.

Well I thought it would be near to impossible for them to escape out there, with the number of Orcs and all.. And perhaps it's a nice idea to keep them wandering around for a bit. Especially since not much is known about the people and cultures that lived in Mordor by then, except they were of course kinda brainwashed by Sauron. But it could provide for some adventures.. and perhaps they could still escape along the Northern route in the end.
I loved your post Goldy! Especially when Arawen just 'left' Beör where he was because he was already 'in character'.. that just made me laugh..
I will try and write a post tommorow! Eep! I'm so excited!

Because it's not my turn to post, I decided to post here to keep the Starless Night-spirit alive!
Lets do some plotting!
What did you think of my plan Goldy? Will it be a nice plottwist when they are to linger longer in Mordor, in an attempt to find a good escape route? Or did you have something else in mind?
Could there also be an encounter with the Nazgul? The Mouth will obviously not let them go so easily once they escaped..

I'm still here. I'm just trying to figure out what to have Maethoriel do since her abrupt exit.
I love the idea of the group getting into some good ol' heroics. Sounds like a good place to start in on Arawen's real redemption. And roping Maethoriel into good deeds is just fun for me to write as she almost always tries to pass the credit off to someone else. The Nazgul would be awesome.

So what if Goldy writes a new post for Arawen/ Luthien/ the Mouth? Perhaps that Luthien & Co are brought back to the cells, and Arawen will go to Mae in order for the last preparations to bust them all out?
I really miss Starless Night..
(That's why I put up my lovely Beör banner again! )
