I had actually said I would take her if no one else would. So i guess I ahve to say it. I claim bellatrix. And I have my oc.
Will, I think you should do up a list for the characters and who would take them.

Do you mean there should be a rule that your own characters cannot have a relationship with eachother? I think that might be okay, because else indeed the interaction with other character might suffer under it. But like I said before, I really want to keep the romance to a minimum. Or do you mean relationships in general? Like they can't be siblings? mainly relationships. But there I know back when I rped a lot, there were people that would have posts where their characters only interact with each other and quite frankly it was annoying. So I think that should be prevented and darkheart if you really want a baddie, you can have snape since I never lay official claim to him

I believe the taken characters are as follows:
foot soldier: Remus Lupin, Lucius Malfoy Will: Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black, Annabel Lee: Severus Snape Misa_Amane: Bellatrix Black (Lestrange?), Peter Pettigrew Darkheart: Lily Evans (Potter?)
Some key characters I believe need to be taken:
Voldemort James Potter Frank and Alice Longbottom (I don't know Alice's maiden name, and I'm on my iPhone) Rodolphus Lestrange Narcissa Black (Malfoy?) *I may take this one, I love writing for her. Arthur Weasley Molly Prewitt (Weasley?) Andromeda Black (Tonks?) Regulus Black
Several of the characters I mentioned above wouldn't be very important during the Hogwarts time of the RP, but would become pivotal in relations when the time comes to cover the events of the first Order of the Phoenix. I've included everyone with their maiden names first because it's unclear to me as to who was already married and who married during the course of the war, so I've provided both names. If anyone can think of some other important characters, that would be wonderful :)
**I didn't include professors because they'll be more static characters, able for anyone to pick up and use at will. I also didn't include more minor Death Eaters like Yaxley or Evan Rosier because they too I feel should be static to the use of the major Death Eaters, unless someone wants to pick up a minor canon on purpose for the freedom they entail.

^ I think your list is correct FS. Tonks shall not be an important character at the time as she's like 10 years the Marauder's junior, so she won't be at Hogwarts at the time. Just like Molly and Arthur, as they are much older.. What about Regulus Black? Sirius' little brother? He probably will be a spoiled, annoying brat.. But not really a bad guy.. yet. Anna - I know what you mean, but I hope that we're with a group of RPers, who do not RP in such a style anymore, but if it happens, such a rule should be enforced. I might PM Saira as well, as I know that she was part of the RPG last time, and she really liked to RP.

I included Nymphadora Tonks' mother for the explicit purpose of sisterly relations between Narcissa, Andromeda, and Bellatrix. And I feel like such a dummy for forgetting Regulus! I'll add him immediately :) And I only added Arthur and Molly so they could be a part of the Order, not at Hogwarts (: That was the logic of my list. I don't know if I made it very clear since I was so short handed on my typing because I was on my phone.

I reread your post, and I think that I've probably not read carefully enough. I agree, having Arthur and Molly for, lets call it, the second phase of the RPG is certainly necessary. And I might take Regulus if no ones wants him.. I think it will be very interesting to play both the brothers Black. Their relationship must have been very awkward, and Regulus could perhaps be buddies with Snape?

I am looking forward to this. maybe we should have another post with two lists. One for the school years and one for the order years. Because some of the school year charries may become less important, and charries from the Order years will be added.

I like lists as much as the next person, but I don't think two lists are totally necessary. It's already a pretty short list. Dividing it would make it even shorter.
Actually, I was just thinking that as soon as we find ourselves a James Potter *coughannabelleecough* we could kick this off. I'm beginning to get a bit anxious. I keep getting this itch to make a spine header for the OP and then I have to reign myself in and say, No, footie. You can't do that.

Me too, I want to start. And you OC, I was thinking My Oc could be his cousin. But on which side, his mothers or fathers? If you want to PM so we can talk, that would be great, that way we know a bit about the charries to an extent.

@Darky: I couldn't agree more :D I love watching things like this unfold. The Black family is like, the Jerry Springer-ified family in HP and we'll get to see it all unravel :D It's brilliant.
@Misa: I sent that PM (:

You're such a trooper, Annabel. I'm so proud of you. <3
So, I think that really takes care of all the necessary canons to get the ball rolling. :D So anytime you're ready, Will, let's kick off? I think that'd be pretty wonderful (:
