Hey guys, I wondered if anyone is interested in joining a RPG which is set in the time of the Roman Emperors. Since this is a really long period we could choose an event or emperor (Caesar's death..?) which can be simply used for a plot. Let me know if you would like to join or if you have any ideas

It's one of my favourite periods of History. I've learnt alot during my Latin and History lessons but I think I've seen most of the movies set back then (Gladiator, Julius Caesar, Imperium: Augustus, Cleopatra, Empire Rome ) I'm just thinking of a plot which would be good. |

I would definately join, preferably as a Legionnaire or someone, but.....in my experience (and I've been a part of.....two Roman Empire RPGs and read a couple more), Gladitorial ones don't work so well if all you're doing is just fighting in the arena. It gets boring. fast. Big battles with Legionaires are so much more interesting .... ^_^ But yeah, this is one of my favorite eras of history, to. |

^^ I don't know yet..  I've been thinking last days but I'm not sure.
Elenya pmed me something, maybe we could use Gladitorial elements.. mmm.. Has someone seen the serie Empire? It's really good and maybe we could base it on that..? |

Sorry, haven't ever seen Empire. Battles with Legionaires sound cool, but I don't know if we could combine that and Gladiators in any way. |
