I was just wondering if anyone would be intrested in a RPG based on Special Unit 2, which was on SciFi this Friday. SU2 is a plainclothes unit that deals with 'paranormal' threats, refered to as links, as they are the links between prehistoric creatures and the creatures of today. The unit can do almost anything in Chichago (sp?) and just have to say that they are from SU2 and get away with it (as long as it is not murder of a human or something like that). I'll post more about it tomorrow, but that is the basic overview. |

Okay cool. More info: They use special weapons and ammo to take down different types of links. Links are any and all of the creatures from kids nightmares, except vampires, which are complete fiction. Things like gargoyls and werewolves are different than what is usually thought, but are basically the same thing. SU2 has to make sure that the population doesn't know about the links, so they break into homes that have photos or video of links and take the footage. I'll post more info again later, I have to go now. |

Era is now, the weapons are bulkier than modern day weapons. The rifles and pistols use the same size ammo, just different size clips. The equiptment is about 1/2 a century ahead of what we have now. Things like a scanner that can ID tissue from links and 'binocs that can scan through every vision spectrum. We also have access to the entire electronic database for the entire world. |

Okay, now that I have most of my stuff sorted out, I'm going to try to start this on Monday of next week. Please post your Bios here over the weekend so I know who your character(s) are. [EDIT] Okay, here is my bio. ****************************************** Name: Jathorn Forzare (pronounced: Fore-zare-ee) Age: 27 Birthplace: Wadebridge, Cornwall, Great Britain Specialty: Killing things Appearance: Short black-brown hair and green eyes. Jath usually wears a black leather duster (not quite a trench coat, but longer than a normal jacket) with jeans and any T-shirt (usually darker colors). Bio: Everyone thought that Jath was...different during his childhood. He saw things that no one else saw and was sent to multiple different psychiatrists. He moved to the Chicago area when he was ten because of a contract his father received. Jath graduated from the Police Academy with honors at the age of 23 and was with the normal police for around a year before joining Special Unit 2. His years with SU2 have made him hard and emotionally detached. ******************************************************* There is one thing that I will reqire in the RPG. Which is that your characters have a life before and during the RPG. You can do something like bring an old boyfriend or girlfriend into the mix for a while and I'll use that in the actuall RPG. |
