Post subject:  An Idea for an unorthidox RP
Ok... just thought I would run this by a few people before posting it up and see if anyone is interested.

My idea was to have an RP (starwars universe for example but can be done in any rp) and the goal is to simply atain a higher rank, money, renown, etc...

You would need to keep track of your items and money if you wanted to but that's not neccesary.


The main way it differs from a normal RP is that you use events in your real life to slightly dictate what happens in your RP. (See the link below for an example, it's what gave me the idea.)

So basically (in starwars universe) We would all start out as Padawans and work our way up to Masters. Once there we would take on our own padawans. (hopefully other posters on AU and not an OC that is controled by you)

Through the whole thing you can creat your own story line to follow, split from the main group or stick together. Whatever you like.


So... let me know if it's a good idea, crazy idea, or just strange. :P

:) Okeday. I'm having fun with our posts in the Misc. Randomness section if no one else joins we can colaberate and get our basic storyline and go from there.

I've done some RPs with just two players and I still enjoy them.


What universe would you prefer to use? Starwars... LOTR, or whatever.

My personal preference is always going to be starwars, but I'm flexable.

I'm pretty sure it will be pretty fun Turwaithion. (at least for me :P )

Since that makes five of us interested I guess I will go ahead and start the thread.

I guess we can let the one in the Misc. Randmones section drop neina since it's esentialy the same thing as what we will be doing. :)

(but it will serve as a good example to anyone else who may want to join at least. )


I will call the RP "Galactic Ledger" since it's kind of like the journals of our characters. (although you are more than welcome to RP in non-journal mode AKA typical RP style. )

Ok, the page is up and running. Got four people so far including myself Nienna, and Freya.

Hopefully if you guys want to join Raivynn Phoenix and Turwaithion we can start posting by tomorow. :)

Ah... well it's ok I have never really blogged before either. lol this is just something that I thought up and thought might be fun.

If you don't want to do that it's perfectly fine you are more than welcome to just post as you would in a typical RP as well!

The basic idea is you just type something that happened during your day and use it to "influence" your RP charater

Like it I practiced my martial arts training in RL then I can have the main point of my post being during my Character's practice sesions when he practices his lightsaber or force skills.

Ultimately we are just here to have a good time. :) So whatever you feel like, that's fine.

I made the first post on the RP so if you'd like you can go check it out and kind of see what I mean.
