Idea number one!

~ The Black Pearl hits a rock. Crew gets stranded on strange, sinister-looking island. Okay, so I know this isn't just any old ship, it's the Pearl, and it crashing would be a tragedy, but it's an idea There could be some mysterious, witchy tribe on the island that knows something about the Fountain of Youth. But they won't let on.
And they might try to eat someone.
