Alrighty - Almara's been formally accepted in her new role (begrudgingly by Farien) and Amarwen has discovered not only that Halvarin has quit Osgiliath but also that she is to be formally betrothed at midday before the assembled court. I've kinda got an idea knocking about Aldamir and Almara's mother that would set up how it was that he didn't know he had another child... |

Alrighty - I did a bit of a short cut on the exchange between Amarwen and Almara as it was just getting too wordy. To be clear, Amarwen has come clean to Almara. Partly because she increasingly trusts and partly because liquor can undo even the most reluctant tongue. What this means at this juncture is that Almara holds all the 'cards' so to speak. She knows about Halvarin, about the Library tryst, about Farien's attempts to first negotiate but then threaten and also about the events in Edhellond that preceded this (alluded to in the exchange between Therald and Calimir). Amarwen knows that Almara once worked for Calimir - but not whether she continues to do so. Amarwen knows that Almara has some sort of relationship to Rie-Zunic, but not what that relationship is. Amarwen knows that Farien really doesn't like Almara, but nothing as to why that is. And on that subject, the reason Aldamir was clueless as to Almara's existence is because her mother left before he knew that she was with child. Why she left so swiftly, and who was responsible....well, you guessed it, Calimir and Farien had more than a little to do with that. |

Three shortish ones in a row: Amarwen's response to Aldamir An exchange between Farien and Eldacar in the wake of the betrothal, and A discussion between three shieldmaidens that have snuck in to observe, from the nosebleed section, the day's events. |

Alrighty - the newly betrothed couple have returned and Girdean is busy locking in supporters for Castimir's ambitions regarding secession. I'm tempted to do a piece from Rhinnin and Vilmaith's perspective.... |

Kk, off to read the post. I’d say go for it. Can’t hurt anything! (Though they might... but that’s all good. ) |

Alrighty - Rhinnin's out of lock up (worse for wear after Calimir "Sent a Message")...and a report on its way concerning Calimir's conduct to Aldamir. |

*Thumbs up* I am considering initiating a third faction of sorts, but I figured I would run it past you guys here. Rie-Zunic has about had enough with the red tape. He is inclined to take matters into his own hands, but knows he can’t all on his own. I was debating whether his most logical course of action would be A: to juat put up with things and follow rules B: Go rogue C: Or recruit help and then go rogue and wage war on the guildsman So, depending on what fits your story lines here, what do you guys think? |

Cool! I like a combination B & C, or C, with them becoming B? Has some good intrigue. I'm working on a concurrent Castamir POV post right now. |
