Post subject:  Pieces from the Past Official Thread
Okay so after reading Lothy's short story about Barby and Andrea and suchwhat I got a sudden brainflash... and seriously, it was sudden. Like BAM. :lol: anyways, so I was thinking I don't know nearly enough about most of your guys' characters... at least not as much as I'd like to know. And, I mean, RPs can sorta show what a charrie is like but most of the time you don't get REALLY indepth with their innermost feelings and thoughts. This got me wondering about my own characters and wondering how well you guys really knew any of them. And so... yanno, I thought maybe, just to expand on my characters and invite you guys into each of their worlds I would do a series of short fanfics/stories about different times in my charries' pasts. That way they sorta come more to life than they do in just a biography, you know? To me, I thought it would be a fun way to let you guys know more about my characters AND to help myself learn more about them. I always like expanding on them and really getting to "know" them so yes. :D

I believe that it will appear in the Fanfic section here on AU... that's the best place I could think of to put it since it doesn't really fit here nor in the RP section. (I'll put a link up when it's started) :yes: hopefully I will have the first one up sometime soon since I don't have homework to do tomorrow. :) Who it's gonna be about is my little secret. :whistle: but I will try to create at least one short story for each of my charries: Carmon, Lotty, Henry, Emma, Joe, Dem, Cole and Lucette.

That is a wonderful idea and truly inspiring PD... This thought was actually what inspired me for my NaNoWriMo novel... I thought hmmmm I don't really know a lot about my own characters. What were their lives like before the RPs?

So I am writing a tale of Aurora-Rose and Gabriel along with some of my other characters thrown in... maybe I'll give you guys some snippets as I write <3

This is just amazingly epic, I simply cannot wait. Also you've inspired me to do the same, if not similar. Though knowing me it'll be Andrea centric. I know I should explore my other characters more, but the just don't inspire me as much as she does.

I was going to write the official Barbea story for NaNoWriMo but then I realised you couldn't use fanfic, so maybe I'll just write it as a story and post it here <3

comments are very much appreciated. In a later short story I think I'm gonna explain how then Dem kinda curls up into himself, locks his feelings away and focuses all his energy on being the carefree, reckless, defiant, live-life-to-its-fullest-cause-who-knows-if-this-is-your-last-day Dem he is in the RPs. :yes: That should be fun... and yeah. I guess I've already kinda started showing that. :) yay!

Now... who'll be the next OC to get a piece of story told...

PD, you already know how much I love this fanfic idea, so I won’t repeat myself about how awesome it is :lol: Because it is an epicly awesome idea, and I’m definitely going to join in too. <3 I posted feedback on your fanfic thread, btw. :-D

Now I’m all hyped up about starting my own fanfic! I absolutely can’t wait. I’ll have to get typing soon, because I’m full of ideas. :pirate:

I am really excited that you started a thread up too. I was truly hoping someone else would 'cause I'd LOVE to get to know your guys' characters even better. :yes:

and I know what you mean about being full of ideas. I have several ideas for Dem, Lucette and Henry especially. :) btw, I got another post up and hopefully soon my posts will get to be happier too and not so angsty... though I gotta say I love writing that stuff. ;)

I simply love this idea, I'll have to set my thread up a bit later because I don't know how much time I'll have to just sit and write little ficlets (especially with NaNoWriMo fast approaching) ;) but I'll see what I can do, and I love the ones that were written thusfar <3

ETA: My first one is up. Not really "past" as it is present/future, but oh well... it was a Beckara idea that wouldn't stop poking me until I finally wrote it down. :P

Yay, I must now go off to read Pan's first snippet and Ara's. :happy: and I really like some of the modifications you guys are doing like the little banner thing Pan is doing in front of the story as well as giving a link to listen to the full song. Cool beans. I might have to snitch some of those ideas. :P

Everyone’s fics are just so epic! <3 I’m really enjoying reading all of them. :pirate:

PD, I’m really curious to know what you think of my latest snippet with Eve, because it’s got stuff about her and Henry’s dad. :-D

Talking of using songs to inspire writing, right now I’m listening to 30STM’s “Kings and queens” and it really makes me want to write something all epic and adventurey!! <333 I don’t know what yet though. :lol:

30STM forever! <3 You’re so lucky to be seeing them in person, Pan. :-D Tonight, I listened to them giving a live concert broadcast on the radio, and they were epic!!! Jared was just brilliant with the crowd too, getting them to join in the choruses, and he was really sweet and funny. I wish I’d actually been there in Lincoln, but it was awesome just to listen. ^_^
