Recently I have been reading a lot of futuristic satire novels (ex. Anthem, Handmaids Tale, ect.). I would like to start an RPG loosely based on books like these. It will be set around year 2080 in the Republic of Beliath (just made that up). It will be like a collective society where no one's allowed to be unique (that's basically what Anthem is, if anyones read it). My character will be a girl who wants to change the world so that people can be individuals. I'll go ahead and post her bio:

I don't think that in a society like this family members are acknowledged. It's like this thing that is in Anthem called the Transgression of Preference. It is where if you hold another member of society higher than the others, whether it be family member, friend, lover, ect., you are punished. But I think it would be cool if we new that we were sisters and we held secret meetings in some secluded are where we could actually be together as family. Does that sound good? I'll start the thread after more people show an interest.

Thanks for joining! Sounds good except for the blue dress. I kind of think they all should wear white dresses, because the whole idea is that there is no individuality. I just chose white because it was the plainest color I could think of. I'm going to go ahead and open the RPG thread in the non-lotr RPG section.

Guys would wear plain white pants and plain white shirts. (I know it seems very boring, but it has to be in order to stay true to the no individuality.) You could be the son of a member of the High Council (that is basically just a group of people who make all of the decisions ex. deciding who gets what job, deciding the punshimant for a crime, ect.) although you could not recieve any special treatment (again the equality thing). You probably would not be acknowledged as the son of a member of the High Council, but you could maybe act superior when no adults where watching.

If this is based on a book, that should be good. However, someone must help me understan the content of the game. Then I will gladly join. But I wanna be a bad guy since noone wants to be. So rpg becomes boring when all people tries to be good.
