I read it 3 times in Dutch, and at the moment I'm reading it for the 3rd time in English.

I'm still stuck in the middle of TTT, and I'm reading FotR in French. I find it quite fascinating to read it in another language, but it is quite difficult.

I read the entire trilogy once every year, but the first year I picked them up I read selected passages more than that. So, I guess I've probably read FotR about 6-7 times.

Again, wow.

lol. It gives me something to read. I love to read, but I can get rather choosy about the books I do read, with both writing quality and plot line. The Lord of the Rings is something that completely fits my taste in both areas, and I love them. So I read them a lot. *shrug*

I'm gonna start on the one-year reading. If I can keep up, that is... Which I most probably can't. I love reading, but I don't have too much time to do it in.
Buuut, this is my third time reading FotR.

I've only started reading the books since TTT movie came out, but I've made up for it. I've read the books so many times, I have all of the poems memorized in FOTR and am working on TTT. I keep really good care of my books, but I've already worn off the cover of two FOTR books. Is that a lot?

I've read it twice, and I skim through them all the time when I'm in the mood.

I have read it only once in original but in Russian (my native language) 5 times...and now I'm reading it in 7 time (in whole).......but now I try to read it slowly and percieve more. Each new time I read it, I understood all this much better and rose to the higher level..
