Actually i allways imagined Tom very much like a hobbit or dwarf, and Goldberry like an elf or dryad.

Yes, Goldberry gives the impression of a dryad or a nymph.

I love Tom Bombadil and Goldberry. Their chapters always bring smile on my face when I read FotR - they are the best in whole book! nI like the mysterious but cheerful aura around Tom and fresh attitude of Goldberry.
