Glorfindel would be my favourite elf, in the fellowship of the ring (There are many I like more in the Sil.) Gildor is great as well "Never ask and elf for counsel, as he will say both yes and no". Has to be one of my favourite lines in the book.

^my favourite line is the line right after that ... "Advice is a dangerous gift, even from the wise to the wise, and all courses may run ill..." i use that line for everything now LOL!

I love all of the elves (they are my favorite race in the LOTR books and movies) but if I had to choose, it would be Legolas.

It's so hard to choose between Legolas and Elrond since I liked both...but I guess I'll go with Legolas.

That is what I liked most about him. He was the first elf who really tried to communicate with men and I think that he did something which was very important.
