Bilbo's birthday party seemed rather dull. ....... Just kidding.. Just reading about it made it seem..soo..fun..yeah.. and they made it look fun in the movie, too. |

I think they actually made it look more fun and active in the movie. However, Tolkien's description of it in the book was pretty cool. |

Yeah, I liked the movie better, too. The book is great, but actually hearing the music and seeing the hobbits dancing realy brings it to life for me. |

I never quite envisioned the party ---- I knew the details of events leading up to it with the Sacville-Bagginses but that's basically it.... |

I did envision the party, even after I saw the movie--it just seemed slightly different in the book. It didn't seem as lively, though. |
