This thread is for discussing what you think of Boromirs Riddle in The Fellowship, which goes thus ( without looking it up!!)

Seek for the Sword which was Broken,
In Imladris it dwells
There shall be councils taken
stronger than Morgul spells
There shall be shown a token
that doom is near at hand
For Isildurs Bane shall awaken
and the Halfling forth shall stand.

I like it and if you wanna say something feel welcome to.

All of Tolkien's poetry and stuff is beautiful, but especially the ones that have to do with characters.

One of the best poems, it simply means, go to Rivendell and find Anduril, there you will find a hobbit with the One Ring.
