I like it because there are a lot of stories going on at one time. Elrond seems so wise in the book, but in the movie he doesn't seem so wise.

Well, I would say that it was very informative but a bit long and boring. Oh, I can't decide.

I liked it. Most of the time I like it when the story tells a lot of information, but this took a really long time. Still, i don't dislike it, without that information it's harder to understand the story..

I liked the chapter. It was very informative, and I didn't think it was boring at all. I like interesting and informative chapters.

I like very much the council of Elrond because all the characters are gathered. It is true that it is a little bit slow but there are many sentences important "cult" sentences !!!! It's my favorite scene of The fellowship of the ring !!

Well, I'm going to go with the minority and say dislike (at least in the book). It was too long and far worse than it being long was the fact that it was so dull. It was probabley my least favorite chapter so far. It just seemed to drag on for too long and Gandalf talked way too much...and I allready knew or had guessed most of what was said (especialy of what Gandalf said). Let's just say that I'm glad that the entire book isn't written like that. Just my opinion though.
Plus it also probabley didn't help that I had had such high hopes for it going into it...oh well.
