Hmmmmmm...I've only read FotR once so far, but I think my favourite chapters would be A Long-Expected Party and The Council of Elrond (yeah, I actually enjoyed that).

Ohhh, A Short Cut to Mushrooms is always fun....Many Meetings, ummmm....basically any with Hobbits. :-D

Beh. It's difficult. I can't really pick a favourite, everything's wonderful. I liked parts of the Council of Elrond, although other parts of it dragged me down.

I've only read it once through...I have started rereading it, but haven't found time to get to it (other things keep on popping up). Anyways, I love most of the chapters in this book. They're all wonderful.

I love the House of Tom Bombadil and A long expected party...
The House of Tom Bombadil is so fun and I love there songs that Tom and Goldberry sing....A long expected party kind of is telling about the life the hobbits are used to, before they say how drastically the there life changes upon finding out about the ring

I love every chapter in the bokk, but my Favorites are the ones in LothLorien. It just takes you to another world where you can just dream and be far away from anger and hate. It is a very happy part in the book.
