My favourite saying from the movie is when Gandalf said,"All you have to decide is what do do with the time that is given to you."

I can't pick my favourite parts from the movies, because I love them all!! :-D

I love all the female roles from the trilogy, but if you look at my name, you'll see who my favourite character is from another book Tolkien wrote.

Are you new?Cuz if you are,Suilad and Mae Govannen!!

Well as for the poll question, I would say that Gollum/Smeagol would make a lovely king of the world :P :punk:

Aragorn of course :) It's in his blood, he can handle the stress, he makes good decisions and he's just altogether wonderful :-D

My favorite quote from the Fellowship would likewise have to be "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us".

My favorite quote by Arwen would have to be " I would rather spend one lifetime with you than spend all the ages of this world alone". I hope I said that right. My favorite part in the movie would have to be the mirror of Galadriel. She is my favorite female character - She encourages Frodo to complete the task. My second favorite would be Arwen. She sacrificed immortality for Aragon because she loved him so much. She also encouraged Frodo from not becoming a ringwaith when he was stabbed with the Witch-king of Angmar's sword. My most third favorite character is Eowyn. When I read the book, I was astonished at her bravery in The Battle of Pellenor ( fighting with the Witch-king of Angmar). Well, that's it :)

P.S. I think Sam would be a good king because he is so loyal to those whom he cares about. He was re-elected for Mayor several times after Frodo left The Shire.

I can't help but feel sad when someone says "....after Frodo left the Shire."

Umm let's see..I have four favourite sayings from the movie..

First one is: All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you ((I love it's use in the trailer for ROTK))

Second is:"Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer."

Third is:"Farewell. My work is now finished. Here at last on the shores of the sea comes the end of our Fellowship. I will not say, Do not weep, for not all tears are an evil" ((makes me want to cry everytime, it's so bittersweet))

And the fourth is these song lyrics which is about Arwen  :
"I saw a star fade in the
Evening sky,
The dark was too deep and so light died,
Softly pining.

For what might have been,
For what never was.
For a life, long lived
For a love half given"

Favourite parts of the movies are parts in the Shire, when Pippin sings, and when the Rohirrim ride into batttle in TTT and ROTK

Favourite females are Arwen and Galadriel... :-D
