Aragorn, and not just because that's how it happened in the book either. Aragorn has the true potential for being a king. He's been through more than many have been through, he is well trained for battle, he is a good leader, and he is wise.
As for my favorite quote, I have too many, and I can't possibly favor one over the other...

My favorite saying by Arwen was, "This was my choice." or something like that.
My favorite part of the movie is the entire part when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas are going after Merry and Pippin, and I don't have a favorite female role.
