That's the impression you get from her, but she's really not.

That's the vibe I think she's supposed to give off. She's a "don't mess with me" kind of person. When I saw FotR for the first time, I thought that Galadriel was kind of creepy, and also evil. But now she's one of my favorites, because she is so wise, and not evil, but just powerful and mysterious. It's like a great and terrible power, like CS Lewis discribes Aslyn in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I reread that book right before I saw the movie and when I read his explanation for that I immediately thought of Galadriel.

When I first read FotR I was completely amazed from Galadriel. She is so wise and powerful. He makes all the rest look very small in front of her. She is something like the heart of Lorien.

I agree with Astaldo. Although Celeborn is the King, it seems that Galadriel has more authority.

i think Galadriel is wonderful, so powerful and beautiful and menancing! (but still reamins in the forces of light!) when i first saw him in fotr, i thought she was evil, whispering to frodo in his mind and looking all sort of creepy etc... but i think she was very kind to help the fellowship!

When I first saw the FotR movie I didn't like her that much because of the scene with Galadriel's mirror. But now I really like her, because she's so wise and she's seen Valinor and has been in Middle-earth during the three ages. I also like the place where she lives and idk.. she's so mysterious, but I definitely admire her.
