Tolkien would have rocked as a writer of lyrics. BTW, Orli is a new nickname to me,. It is a bit well, wierd sounding, at least i think so . I woz just kidding !!!

Yeah, Orli is a really common nickname for him.
Haldir and Legolas are the coolest of the Elves listed up there, IMHO.

Elrond all the way ^_^ I would have said Elladan or Elrohir (if they were there), but there's something about Elrond. He's an important and influencial character in Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and the Silmarillion. And probably the one which had to live through the most seeing as he lost his mother, father, brother, wife, daughter and supposed foster son (if we're going by the popular theory) to time/fate/orcs etc.
I don't know there's something about that elf which I like ^_^
I liked Legolas before he got the fan-girl attention... to me Orlando Bloom's portrail was wrong (and that's weird for me to say because a few years ago I was nuts over Orlando). But I definatly preferred hyper happy Legolas to erm... quite point out the obvious does CGed stunts Legolas XD
I also quite like Arwen, Glorfindel and Haldir, Galadriel, Celebrian, Celeborn Gildor... I don't think there's an elf I don't like, apart from the sons of Feanor and even then I like Maedhros...

Gildor is one of the 'exiled' elves Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin meet in FotR before they meet Aragorn. I wish I had my books on me.
I got this of wikipedia:
Gildor calls himself "Gildor Inglorion of the House of Finrod." He also says: "We are Exiles, and most of our kindred have long departed and we too are only tarrying here a while, ere we return over the Great Sea.". At the time when The Lord of the Rings was written, Finrod still meant the character later known as Finarfin. If we read "House of Finrod" to mean "House of Finarfin", we can place him among the Noldor who joined the host of Finarfin during the Exile, and came to Beleriand under Finrod Felagund.
Some argue that the name "Inglorion", which means "son of Inglor" suggests, that he was in fact the son of Finrod Felagund himself, who was at that time still called Inglor. There is, however, strong evidence against it.
Here't the link to the page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gildor

Definitely Arwen (so I voted for "others"), because she such a wonderful character. It's really sad that she is hardly mentioned in the books. But I love the "Tale of Arwen and Aragorn" in the appendix.

I love Gildor. He is just cool. And Glorfindel (grr...). I mean, he stood up to all nine Nazgul! He's awesome!

I am with you on that. The Legolas from the books was great. He sang, he was cheerful, he was a warrior, he was sweet.
Then you have "something stirs in the east/a diversion" Legolas. Well duh! Of course something is stirring in the east. Sauron is there. Hello!
