Yes they are, and even though I voted for Legolas, I adore all Elves. They're so graceful and silent and skilled, but I chose Legolas because he stayed true to the fellowship and was loyal to Aragorn. Plus, he became friends with a Dwarf, which was a very unlikely thing to happen to an Elf, as we all know...

And we come to end of days

Legolas is obviously a very respectable elf. He did things few other elves did, like what you mentioned, Lady Imidri. I agree with you.
I feel sorry for Celeborn . No one voted for him. We all love him, though, right?

Celeborn and Elrond are a lot alike. What is it you like about Elrond, Peredhil Lover?

I love all the elves, but I had to say Legolas *has the grace to look embarassed*
I love the elves in the books more than the elves in the movies. I mean the random elves that are just hanging around, not Galadriel or anything. The elves in the movie all seem a bit depressed. I love it especially in the Hobbit, I love it how the elves are always laughing and singing and being silly. I still love the elves in the movie, but the ones in the books are better.

I agree. The Elves didn't sing in the movies besides when they were lamenting for Gandalf. That did make them seem a bit more gloomy than the ones in the books. But they captured the grace well in my opinion.

I agree with both of you, Lostariel and Lady Imidri. the elves were described in much more detail in the books, obviously. They didn't seem gloomy, just quieter. Lady Imidri, I thought the elves sang in The Fellowship of the Ring when Sam and Frodo saw them going to the Grey Havens . I may be wrong, though.

I'm probably wrong, after all, I was fresh out of a tiring day of school when I posted that. *thinks*... Yeah, you might be right, not sure...

That's perfectly alright, Lady Imidri . School exhausts us all.

Arwen, she's just cool. (and she's not up there either... *stews* *gets over it*) Second would be Legolas and Galadriel, I think, or perhaps Elladan and Elrohir. Or any Elves really, I love Elves.

There is an "other" option, though, Ánië Súrion. Did you go with that choice?

I would say my favourite elf is Gil Galad, even though there is not a lot of information on him the image I always had of this ancient elf guarding the way to the western lands send shivers of delite down my back.

Suilad, Galáril . I like Gil Galad, as well. He saved Frodo from the Nazgul, which is a big feat. I really like that chapter in The Fellowship of the Ring.

Um, yeah, I did, but I guess I forgot to say that. Sorry. Thanks.
