I would say my favourite elf is Gil Galad, even though there is not a lot of information on him the image I always had of this ancient elf guarding the way to the western lands send shivers of delite down my back.

Suilad, Galáril :bye2:. I like Gil Galad, as well. He saved Frodo from the Nazgul, which is a big feat. I really like that chapter in The Fellowship of the Ring.

:P wrong character, Elwing--Gil-galad was the High king of the Elves, who was killed by Sauron. Glorfindel saved Frodo from the Nazgûl. :)

They are all good in my opinion. Legolas obviously takes the cake

I agree, Feanaro Calalean. All of the characters in the list are good :). What makes Legolas stick out in your mind, though?

Oh :duh:. I'm terribly sorry for the mistake. Thank you for correcting me, Aerandir :). I like Gil-galad, as well :).

What do you like about Gil-galad, Aerandir?

Legolas and Haldir are both amazing, like you both said, Lord Elrond and Merenwen Melwasul. Elrond does stick out, though. He's much older, and rules over, if those are the right words, a city regarded as a safe place by many. All three of them, however, are great :).

I voted Celeborn.. I am the ONLY one who has voted for him... poor guy.

But I like him even though I hardly know anything about him and he doesn't even have a part in the movie worth talking about... I think he is cool. lol *shrugs* that's just me

Go Celeborn!!

That's a really good reason, Jax Nova :P. There are parts in the book about Celeborn that are really good, though.

Since Glorfindel isn't there I chose the second best. Haldir! :-D Although I think Galadriel and Gil-Galad were good too. :)

I agree, Arianna. Galadriel would make an excellent Queen of Middle-earth, or President, I should say :).

I think you are right. :) She would have been a good President.

Well, Arianna, I think we're on the same wavelength here :).
