Hey everyone,
I’ve been rewatching The Lord of the Rings trilogy and rereading parts of The Return of the King, and I keep thinking about Arwen’s choice to give up her immortality for Aragorn. It’s such a powerful and emotional moment — but I wonder, beyond the romantic aspect, what were the deeper consequences of her decision for Middle-earth itself?
sprunki phase 5Did her choice symbolize the true “end” of the Elves’ era and the rise of Men, or did it carry a more spiritual significance tied to hope and renewal? Also, how do you think her decision might have affected Elrond personally and politically, considering his position and lineage?
I’d really love to hear different interpretations — both from the book and movie perspectives!
