Isn't it? :P (Is this anything like the Frodo chicken dance, i wonder...?)
You're right, it's nice to have someone who reads your work well out loud, particularly if you stutter, or get kind of nervous b/c when you write about rather deep and/or intimate things, well, you know...it can be a bit nerve-wracking to show it to ppl...in a good way, tho.. (meaning it doesn't bother me more than i love to show people my work, usually. As you may have noticed. ;) ) Speaking of which, has anyone heard of a new age muscisian [spelling? argh.] who operates under the name 'Kamal'? (That's kind of his 'stage name'--i think he may actually be German. So you might have heard of him, Forever. Possibly?) Anyway, my absolute favorite piece of his is called "On My Wings', and a while ago i had the idea to write words to it. Involving my love for Frodo, of course. ;) Anyway, i started to, but never finished, until recently when i got re-inspired. Sometime soon i'll show you what words i put to it, if you want. (Knowing you wonderful people, you probably will want me to. :P  )
Also, i'm still busily working on that fanfic about the four 'Questing' hobbits at Brandy Hall... wherein two of them get kidnapped. *suspense* :P I only have four more completely untyped scenes (not counting the epilogue), but then i have to seriously revise everything, since a lot of it is in 'note-form' (so-and-so does this, says 'such and such' ;) ). But i'm hoping to have it done by summer. Hopefully.
Btw, Itarilde (i almost called you Forever!), it's nice to know you think it's good that i'm so open, as i sometimes worry about that. And yes, randomness is a must for people like us. And Frodo-crazy insanity. ;) Also, that's interesting about the 'other Jordan', TT. lol, Also that his intials re-arranged spell out J-E-W, as i think he may be Jewish...(which makes the fact both of his names are kind of Jewish make perfect sense...they're cool names, after all. :) )

There's nothing wrong with being open to people. I admire people who have that kind of honest faith with the world.
Btw, I always thought he was jewish as well. So it seems to make sense that his initials make J-E-W. That's very funny you discovered that Star.

P.S. How is it that you guys are able to type these long, very relevant posts while I can barely squeeze out two paragraphs? I need to think of more stuff to say I guess. :-D

Partly once it may be that once i, at least, get started, sometimes it takes a while for me to stop, lol. Also, when there's a lot people have said since i last posted or a lot i would like to say, it takes several paragraphs to respond. I think short posts have a place too, tho--it can be tiring sometimes to read long ones. So each kind can be good.
Thanks for posting again, btw. It's nice to have the club going again. Also, i'm glad you think being open is good, as i tend to be very trusting of people in general, and it's nice to hear someone say that's not bad. ;)
Btw, if you're looking for more stuff to say, you could try looking for Fro/Lijahvids on youtube.com. :P That would be something to post, if you wanted to... Anyway, just a thought. lol

I think everyone will have tons of more time when school ends. We won't have to worry so much about homework, grades, teachers, and your peers. Summer will be fun, because I hope everyone will be on and you can see all your friends here at the same time.
Nice to have you back!

Just a short message: I'm back after a veeery busy time with school. Now I'm celebrating my 2-week break and I hope I'll be able to come to A-U more frequently.
WB Jilly (hobbit_fan) as well! We're glad to have you here again  . And I agree, almost everything is better than school :P

Eariel, I kept my word: I watched Howl's Moving Castle! *drumroll* I just couldn't resist after you recommended it so highly :-) And I'm glad you did - I enjoyed it very much. I'm still not an anime fan, but I didn't know that even anime movies can be that good :P The whole story was very sweet and beautiful and I actually liked Howl's character (he's called Hauro in the german version) a lot. So, thanks

So, back to our dear big-blue-eyes! (Tho I guess I have a slight crush on Eragon/Ed Speleers, but don't worry, Elijah is still the best! Not to talk of Frodo *huggles Frodo*) So...any ideas about a new topic?

(And Eariel: I don't know Kamal, but I'll look for that song on YouTube. You made me curious :) )

I would post a link to a video of that song on youtube, but i couldn't find any. :( If you search on amazon.com, tho, you'll probably find the cd at least. (They may have clips of the songs that you can listen to in order to see if you like it, since i know you probably wouldn't want to buy a cd just on someone's recommendation. ;) So anyway, hope that helps.)
I'm glad you liked Howl's Moving Castle. Speaking of Miyazaki's movies, I like the film Spirited Away even better--in fact, it's my favorite animated movie. (There's a character in it that kinda reminds me of Frodo... lol) So let me recommend that one to you as well, if you haven't already seen it.
Sorry i haven't posted much lately. i just haven't felt up to it, since the ballet studio our family takes classes at has been getting ready for a show, and the performances were last weekend and this weekend (there's one more tonight). I was in the last show (the Nutcracker :) ), and i would have loved to be in this one, but i couldn't because of foot injuries (achilles tendonitis and the like). I've been helping out back stage, but it's kind of hard to watch from the wings and know that i can't join them on stage, at least not right now... So i can kind of identify with Frodo in not being able to live life (or a certain aspect of it) as i once did, because of injuries...though i expect time will mend mine. ;) So anyway...
I don't know about a very good topic right now, but i'll tell you that i'm as regards that fanfic i've been trying to finish so you guys can read it, i'm in the stage where i go through and change all the note-form (i. e. So-and-so did this, said such-and-such) to a form that would be acceptable in the final draft. So i have to decide exactly how i want everything. It can be a bit stressful that way, but i'm glad to have finally gotten to this stage. (Forever, you should visit the Frodo club--i posted a link to the first scene, if you want to look at it.) Btw, don't worry about having a certain liking for another character/actor, Forever. I have to admit, i think i have a 'slight crush' on Harry Potter/Dan Radcliffe. (And i'm not the only one. *glances at hobbit_fan* :P Yay for the Potter fans! And of course the Frodo fans. Don't worry, he's still first with me, too.)

Thanks for the hint, I'll search amazon for it :-)
And I'll try to get Spirited Away from my library soon. :P I'm just too curious.

Aww, I'm sorry that you weren't able to be in the show actively. I can imagine how you feel :annoyed2: It's a shame that injuries always seem to be there at the wrong time  Though it's not the worst to feel connected with Frodo, even in this way ;-) Btw, I love the Nutcracker! I once saw it with some russian ballet group, it was amazing! :bounce:

Haha, I'm glad you are not angry with me about having a crush on other characters than Frodo. It's just that they're getting a bit too many lately :P But I think I can still manage it ;-)
I'm sorry, though, that you can't count me among the Potter fans  I don't like HP, in fact I haven't seen any of the movies. BUT I'm a LotR fan, and that's the most important thing, I think :P
Sorry for the rambling, I just felt like it.

I'm off to find your link at the other club, Eariel!

I'll look forward to hearing what you think of it. :)
That's okay--you're not the only rambler in these parts. ;) I know, there are several other characters i like, too... Don't worry about not being a HP fan. You're right, for us at least, loving lotr (and Frodo!) is most important. I hope you like Spirited Away--glad to hear i made you curious. :P Also, it's nice to find another fan of the Nutcracker. (Thanks for your sympathy. ) Oddly enough, there's a rumour (which our teacher has not denied, tho she prefers not to confirm it yet) at my ballet studio that we're going to put on another performance of it this December...So maybe my turn will come again sooner than i thought! Yay! lol anyway, you're right, it definitely isn't a bad thing to be able to identify with Frodo--it helps to think of that when i'm going though a hard time. Speaking of rambling, i think i'll end this post. ;)

Who doesn't like the Nutcracker! I love that ballet too! And I'm not even much of a ballet fan.

And I'm too guilty of having crushes on characters other than Frodo. I my self am a HP fan, so I have crushes on those characters as well. But I think you're right Eariel, I can relate to Frodo more than all the other characters I like.

That we do. I'm just not sure what... Maybe we could say what songs we think fit Frodo? One song i think fits him is All That I'm Living For by Evanescence (post-Quest, i mean), and also Field of Innocence (another one by Evanescence) is a good song for all the hobbits, refering to how the journey changed them. Oh, and i think Sweet Sacrifice (written by the same band as the other two, of course ;) ) sounds like it could be Frodo talking to the Ring. "One day, I'm gonna forget your name/And one sweet day, you're gonna drown in my lost pain." It's nice to imagine him telling the Ring that it's not going to be able to weigh him down forever. Anyway... o think i started this post not really knowing what to say. :P

I saw Back to the Future II, with Michael J. Fox, last week.
..and who did I see? ? ?
..a very young Elijah! I never knew he was in it!
..so young, but very cute!
Big eyes and that crooked smile...
