Did anyone else find themselves falling for Legolas (in the movies) after seeing them? At first he really annoyed me cause he was so perfect and all...but then I noticed that he was really cute...and he had blue eyes...and he was an excellent archer. And now I hate to admit it to my friends, but he's one of my favorite male characters as far as looks (and personality) go. Anyone? Or am I the single unfortunate soul to go through this? (I'm really sorry if this is the wrong board, I wasn't sure where to put it) |

No way! You're definatly not alone on this! When I first saw Legolas I was like: "Hey that blonde elf guy is a good archer." But then over the summer I realized that is he is a good archer, and that he is totally hot! 8) |

Ah don't be a hater! But my problem was, I saw the movies first and didn't really like Legolas. Then I read the books and loved him. It was a little backwards for me. |

I still think Legolas is ... kinda ugly...sorry! But, it took me 3 years before I realized Aragorn as portrayed by Viggo, Faramir by David, and Frodo by 'Lij are absolutely GORGEOUS! |

well the 1st time i watched the movies i was 13 or something and i wasnt into hot guys yet.i liked him for his elvishness and his archery,but it wasnt til a bit later i sorta suddenly realised he was hot  .i dont really know how it happened but i guess 1 day i just went wow hello handsome.

When I first saw LOTR, i didnt even pay attention to Leggy. It wasnt untill I saw TTT that I really started to like him. Before I explain, there is something you need to understand. I saw FOTR in prolly march or April. And saw TTT when it came out in August. I wasnt really wathiching he first time I saw it anyways. But then when I saw TTT, my friend pointed him out to be, and I was like "Wow, he's hot!" then I started to like him. |

I feel the same as Kitoky I really used to be obsessed with Legolas and then OB, but after the fan girlness I really went off him. Though I will admit he does look good I still like the character in the book, but I tend not to say so now for the immediate reaction of 'you like orlando bloom' - which is true, but it's also besides the point.
Point is (seeing as I said what the point was mareswell say what the point is) I liked the character before the movies were even heard of and now all these people liking the character because 'he's hot' is just plain annoying! The character in the book is not my definition of hot XD |

Yeah, the book Legolas is... undescribed in looks, over all. I love both Legolas' though because one is very good looking and the other is incredibly funny. Well, at least to me. I can't help but laugh when Legolas in the book gives his story on what happened to the Hobbits by Fangorn. Hehehehe! |
