Sean Bean was interviewed with Radio Times and the following is a quote from him and the link to the article.

Quote:
“I have died quite a few times to be fair,” the star says in this week’s Radio Times, admitting to having watched montages of his characters’ deaths on YouTube. “I’ve seen that reel of clips – it sounds a bit macabre, but I watched that back, and I’d forgotten some of the scenes I’d died in.”

“For some reason, the parts I play, like Boromir or Ned Stark, have a life online long afterwards. I keep seeing, what do you call them – memes? ‘One does not simply ask for a drink’ instead of ‘One does not simply walk into Mordor’ – that sort of thing,” he says, adding: “They’ll probably be my unintended legacy.”

I believe there's even a "Don't Kill Sean Bean" campaign on social media sites. I'm pretty sure Facebook is one of them.

Yeah I have seen that. It's funny how some things just stick.

He also has another legacy as Richard Sharpe, the character he played in the TV series drawn from the books by Bernard Cornwell.

Surprise! He does not die in the series, although he seems to get wounded a great deal. I love the series and have it downloaded on my computer from videos I got off the internet. This Wikipedia entry will give you a nice overview of the series.

Lol well, at least getting wounded a lot is a step up from dying.

Hm... It actually looks kind of interesting. :) Is it kid friendly? I generally don't watch anything my lids cant watch because we watch so little tv that if I am watching they want to also, since it's a special event.

I would say they should be rated PG-13. They take place during the Napoleonic Wars so there are battle and siege scenes which are pretty graphic. Personally, I would not show them to a child 12 and under, but that would be your choice. You know your children's tolerance for this type of action better than I. As a rule of thumb though, if you haven't shown the Tolkien trilogies to your children, I would forego showing this series to them.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I will wait on that then. I am sure the kids will love LOTR but they are not quite old enough for that yet.
