i think that Christopher lee should be knighted for his 52 years in the tv/film industry. with 226 movies, PLUS 59 tv episodes and many other appearances, i definitely think he has made a contribution to culture worthy of knighthood. what do you think? |

Without a doubt. Ok..he may not be an awrad winning actor..but he has Britain on the horror map and has done great things for this genre. His films and himself have cult status. So come on Queenie..hop to it!

Wait, I know the reason why he hasn't been knighted! He's not British! The whole reason why the Queen, or any of the royalty, knight people, is because the pride of the British culture,no? That's why Sir Ian McKellen, or the Beatles have been knighted is because they're all British and have done incredible, or are talented beyond all reasonable doubt! And so the monarchy knights them to recognize British talent and pride! But, if Christopher Lee was british, I bet he would have been knighted a looooong time ago!

emmm... HE IS ENGLISH actually... and you just have to be from UK to be knighted since Anthony Hopkins has been and he comes from Wales... and yes bloody hell! The man should be knighted... |

 He is very British. His father was in the British army I believe and although his mother was from an important Italian family (I think) he is most definitely British. Let's just face it, the Queen's lazy.
