Today I went to the Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Game & Film Convention and I got to meet John Rhys-Davies, Lawrence Makoare (Lurtz/Witchking/Gothmog) and also Robert Englund (Freddy Kreguer). There were also tons of LotR & SW merchandise and stuff there.

Both John and Lawrence were SO polite and nice, I got to talk to them for quite a bit. John thought my English was (and I quote) "superb", and he also said as he shook my hand "this is the hand that has shaken Orlando Bloom's hand", haha. I said that I was a much bigger fan of [John's] rather than of Orlando's and he thanked me sincerely. I also told him how much I loved the movies and his work in them and that I have watched them close to 50 times by now, and he said that was a "terrible waste of your precious time" lmao. He was so incredibly humble and nice.

Lawrence asked me how many times I had seen the movies, and I told him and I also said I had watched all the special features on all the extended discs and so he said "wow, you must know Lord of the Rings inside and out by now!". He asked me whether I had found the easter eggs, and I said I had, and then he said he didn't know where they were and that people have been asking him about it but he didn't have a clue. He then asked if I was a member of any forum, and I said I was, and he went "yeah I should tell them to go on forums and ask the fans, cause they know that kind of stuff [easter eggs], I don't". He was so nice.

Ahh I'm so happy

lmao you seem to hate me a lot lately lol I met them in Stockholm, Sweden. I don't live in Stockholm (I live about 2-3 hours south), but I went up there for the day and met them at the convention They have these conventions every year, and there's a LotR cast member almost every time. I'll definitely go next year too!!

lmao nah I know you don't really hate me. Well they have them in three cities throughout Sweden (Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö) but I don't know about the rest of the world, sorry. Andy Serkis, Billy Boyd and Sala Baker (Sauron) have also been there in the past. I only met Andy Serkis out of them three though. Have no clue who's gonna be there next year, don't even know for sure if a LotR cast member will be there, but they have every year in the past, so.
