Dear god he's lost so much weight!!! I saw pictures f him recently at the King Kong premier (i almost typed donkey kong) I totally didnt recognise him for at few seconds. |

I noticed a magazine with him on the front posing with Naomi Watts. For the first time I could really see just how much weight he has lost! He was almost unrecognisable. Well done mate - I know just how difficult it is to get rid of lots of excess weight so it is a fabulous acheivement! |

I think it's great that he's lost all that weight (much healthier for him), but I miss our hobbity director. I liked the glasses, chubbiness, shorts, and bare feet!

Yeah, it's hard to get used to Peter's new look. 
He looks completly diffrent. It's not just the weight. I wonder if what caused him for such a drastic look-change was all the comments he got about his previous look... |

I saw him on some tv show and I thought that he looks familiar but who is he and then suddenly I realized it was Peter!

I know...I can't help but be a little sad. It's wonderful for his health, but he was so endearing when he was so large, flyaway, and eccentric! I want 'PJ' back- this new guy is just plain old Peter Jackson. |

Good for him for losing weight! But I too miss his hobbitness  He's the original bare-footed short-wearing hobbit.
WOAH at that picture you posted izzy--I didn't realise how much weight he actually lost! That's quite scary... I miss the old Peter now...
