Post subject:  Rather depressed and fealing alone in the world!
Ok, so something I have noticed, is most people dont like actors, or people who like actors! Wich is some what understandable, since manyof them are a litle strange. :yeahright: But It seems to me, that when the subject of an actor comes up in everyday conversation, people kind of try to change the subject. Or others just call you obbsesed! Does anyone else have this problem? I am curious! Why are people so scared of actors!?! :hide: It confuses me, how people can talk about movies, and people in them, but dont like to talk about the poeple who paly those in the movies! :guilty: It makes me sad :'( since actors are so fun to talk about!

So has anyone else noticed this? :huh: :disgust:

hmm, a little bit maybe. I guess I never blamed anybody that wasn't interested in talking about a particular actor or even actors in general. I do tend to go a *little* overboard when I get started. But it tons of fun to be around people that do want to. :)

As SM said, maybe a bit. I think it is maybe because the character an actor plays is so interesting to talk about, whereas an actor, who in my opinion, lives a life that I don't admire at all. I can admire how an actor plays the role -- as in how Liv Tyler played Arwen. I think she did a marvelous job! But her real life is not so pretty, in my opinion. I do not speak for all, and I hope no one has gotten mad...

And I also hope you get what I mean. :P

Yeah, I understand and agree. But I think what I was trying wasnt Getting across. People dont like to even talk about how actors did. Like if I were to bring up how Viggo M did in LOTR people would try to change the subject and stuff.

yeah a lot of people call me Elijah obsessed! Maybe I am... I did start smoking when i found out he did....but that doesn't make me obsessed!

actors, in my opinion, seem sort of fake. I mean, they make their living by pretending to be people that don't exist. I like talking about the characters more than the actors themselves.

When I start talking about Orlando Bloom, everybody walks away (if they can, in the classroom, they just change the subject). But I AM obsessed....... :bounce:
