I love him, not like I love Orlando, but he's an awesome actor and was in the film about my namesake, Chariots of Fire. |

Absolutely! Ian Holm was one of those rare actors who could disappear into any role, from the heartbreaking Bilbo Baggins to the chillingly logical Ash in Alien. His range was incredible—he could be intensely quiet or command the entire screen with just a look. Discovering his deeper filmography is as rewarding as a big win in a top-tier ice fishing game in the UK; it takes some time to explore, but the payoff is always worth it. If you haven't seen his work in The Sweet Hereafter or Chariots of Fire, you're missing out on some of his best performances. He was truly a master of the craft! |
