We are watchin this movie in health, and it is about AIDS. It's not a documentary, but an actually movie, and it is really good. I am almost 100 percent sure that Ian McKellen is in it, unless ther is some one who looks like him, and sounds like him. He palys a gay man who is later on in the movie inflicted with AIDs. I don't know what happens to im though. Havn't seen that part yet. The movie is really sad. It pretty much covers from the begining of the attack and covers them tracking it, and trying to find the cause of it, and how it is passed. It is a really good movie. |

I'll have to go check that out, sounds interesting! Elijah Wood is getting involved in the AIDs campaign, I don't know the full details, but I think he's doing interviews and adverts about it. |

The movie is called..."And the band played on...". It is an excellent movie with a stellar cast. It's based on true events. Ian MacKellen plays Bill Krause, an AIDS activist who died from the disease. Having 3 family members who died from that disease (and watching it happen), the film is near and dear to my heart. I hope everyone at least gets a chance to see it. Fred |

this movie was well done when we did AIDS in religion class,it actualy opened a lots of eyes in my class to people who wernt aware of AIDs enough. |

Yes! That's the name of the movie! Thanks for telling me that. I still remember this movie, even though I watched it a long time ago. It was really touching, and I learned a lot from it. |
