did Elijah's eyes seem especially blue in this movie or is it just me?

they did. maybe it was the glasses. they really magnified them too.

I saw this movie and it seemed to take forever to get to the good parts. It just took a long time for the movie to explain the very touching message it was about. It was good, but it just seemed it had some things added that didn't need to be there and didn't help move the story along.

*is currently reading the book* If you've seen the movie and were confused, read the book. It really does clear things up...like the whole river thing...there's a whole lot of back story that you just don't get in the movie...
doesn't lessen my opinion of the movie. I still think about it all the time. Such a beautiful, artistic movie.
