This was Viggo's very first film role. It was a little indie film either produced, written, or directed by Sean Penn (I can't remember which). It's a story about two estranged Midwestern brothers who become reunited again when one (Viggo's character) is released from prison (he's very much a rebel and a troublemaker, whereas his older brother is not). The basic story is about the younger brother, with his older brother's help, trying to start a new life and settle down, despite the fact that he's very much a wanderer and a restless soul.

The story's great, though rather sad, and Viggo's acting is just amazing! After seeing it, I couldn't believe that most people (including myself ) hadn't really known who he was until LOTR, he was that good! It definitely made me realize how phenomenal an actor he really is .

Hehe, I haven't seen it yet, but in my second semester at college, the guys had created a wall collage of scantily clad girls so us girls wanted to have a wall of guys.

On our quest to find scantily clad guys, we came across VERY revealing pictures of Viggo from The Indian Runner so that's the only reason I'm familiar with it.

Yes there is some very revealing scenes of Viggo... my jaw dropped when I saw viggo in nothing but his birthday suit, it definetly made my head spin...

I did love the movie though :)

The Indian Runner came out in 1991 so Viggo would have been like 32.
