I actually didn't see it until I was like 11. My mom didn't really like the movie. But she doesn't like Flipper either. How can you not like the Goonies or Flipper?

If you're old enough to watch a certain movie (aka the appropriate age to what the rating says) then I think parents should let their kids watch those movies regardless of whether the parents actually like the film or not. That's like deciding for your kid what certain taste in movies (or music or books etc) they should have, which they really have no right to do.

Just my humble opinion though.

I agree. But she would always tell me "you don't want to watch that, it's terrible." So I would just agree and go my way. She would have let me watch it if I insisted.

i saw goonies when i was like 10....maybe ( i think) but i probably would have seen it sooner if i had know about it. the first time i saw it, it was acually on tv and i was watching it and i was like " this movie is so cool" and my dad was like " o well we have it" so yeah i was like yay!

but anyways.....except of some language that shouldn't be heard by little ears i don't think it's a movie parents need to worry about.
but how could you not like goonies 1st of all its a pirate movie and who doesn't like pirates. but its a good movie

I recently watched Rudy... most of it anyway on a plane to Chicago. I really enjoyed it.

RUDY!!!!! I love Rudy! That's like, one of the best football movies ever made! *dies* *comes back to life and chants* Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy...

I love the goonies, the little kid with the belt thing that punches people is great!

I just watched Rudy. Language aside, tha was a great movie, and I'm not really into sports movies.

I liked Rudy very much, but Goonies...that was good. What I couldn't beleive was that Sloth was played by John Matuczak, you know... former Oakland Raider. He was funny.
