Hitched it on a Trolley



Newsies was an amazing movie released in 1992 by Disney. It starred Christian Bale and Robert Duvall and was an amazing musical and inspirational story. Its based on the true story of the Newsboys Strike of 1899.

Unfortunately, America was not yet ready for a musical like Newsies, and it flopped in movie theaters. But there were some who loved the movie. There were some who would make websites in order to introduce others to the movie.

These people made loving Newsies a new cult following, and it was a great time!

I too hope to spread a love of Newsies and its actors through my website, Hitched it on a Trolley. (The name is a line from one of the songs in the movie, Carrying the Banner)

Its a great movie, and I like to think my website is pretty cool (not to toot my own horn )
