Greetings everyone. I bring news from the Mark. As many of you probably known, I`ve been working on the forum called "Middle Earth Returns", for many months now. However now its soon finished and we members of the staff hope many will join and come come back to continue their role-play life as normal or from a new beginning. [font=Copperplate Gothic Bold]Middle Earth Return Fourth age, year 40[/font] After the departure of Elrond, the Fourth Age began. Aragorn reclaimed all the lands of Gondor and Arnor as they had been the greatest extent(exluding only Rohan) and formed the Reunited Kingdom. Within the borders of the realm were several peoples who were considered part of the kingdom, yet were allowed complete self-governance: the Hobbits of the shire, the "Wild Men" of Druàdan Forest, the Ents of Isengard, Gimli`s Dwarves of the Glittering Caves, and the Elves from Greenwood with Legolas in Ithilien. The Shire and the Forest of Druàdan were even forbidden entry by any folk other then their own. Nurn was given to the slaves of Mordor, and peace was made with Haradrim and the Easterlings. North of the Reunited Kingdom, Mirkwood had been freed. Thranduil added the lands north of the mountains to his kingdom, and the middle portion was given the Beornings and the Woodmen. Celeborn claimed the section south of the Narrows, calling it "East Lorien," but after Celeborn departure "in Lorien there lingered sadly only a few of its former people." The Dwarves of Durin`s Folk prospered in Erebor. Mining expeditions were sent to Khazad Dùm where mithril was again mined, used to restore the gates of Minas Tirith, but Khazad-dûm was not immediately recolonized. http://middleearthret.proboards105.com/index.cgi PS: The forum is not open yet |
