The High Seas is a pirate role play site that takes place in 1649 (roughly Blackbeard's time).
The current plot is -
The year is 1649. It's the peak of piracy's golden age in the Caribbean. News has reached the ears of pirates throughout the Caribbean of treasure. Buried treasure. Whoever can find the map, and find the treasure will be the richest man in the seven seas. The search for the treasure map is nearing an end, and there are three pirate ships left that will most likely be the ones to find the treasure. The Bloody Cutlass, the Gold Dubloon, and the Seahawk are close to finding the treasure. These three ships are the ones most closely watched by the navy. The map is said to be hidden on an island that is uncharted, and almost completely unkown by even the most hardened sailors. And the treasure is even better protected.
